Some takeaways from the interview:

- the blockchain space is becoming more versatile and sophisticated, yet there are not so many truly decentralized permissionless systems - Casper Labs is built to become one of those

- system updates is one of the largest issues for current protocols besides the most obvious scalability, tps and other constrains. How many times per month Windows is updated? In a decentralized system updates are not a technical, but rather a governance issue. And there is no correct answer to this so far

- small and private companies would bring growth to the blockchain space, not the enterprise solutions. Look at how Amazon got into the book selling business when Barnes and Nobles was leading offline. But who knows...

- we should all compete for the 27 million developers in the world, not 10-20.000 who are in blockchain today
