This is a rather oversimplified account, but at the crux of Anti-Oedipus (by Deleuze and Guatarri) they, after significant argument and demonstration, conclude that capitalist systems deterritorialize away from reality or distinct interactions in a similar capacity to schizophrenia — both doing so through “delusions”, with the former doing so by presenting all real phenomena through an unreal code of “capital” and the latter through conflating the emotional/mental sensibility of the perceiver with the causal relation in the perceived.
They outline here that perhaps such is inevitable and one must “schizophrenize” even beyond the purview of paranoiac social norms to truly obtain a liberated and transcendent experience of the world, free from Unhappy Consciousness or Ressentiment (see Hegel and Nietzsche)
