Derrick Jensen, not that I am a fan of this guy, makes a good point about why this statement is absolutely wrong. The Earth’s environmental carrying capacity is already extended. Lifestyle creep increasingly moves the impoverished into modes of middle-class living. For instance when I was a teenager not everyone could even afford a landline and now even the homeless have cell phones. However Jensen estimates that to move the third world and emerging economies into what we consider “middle class” would require the carrying capacity of another 35 Planet Earths. And that is exactly why importing immigrants into a better living standard may not be sustainable at all.

Forget how you feel about Baked Alaska or Gavin McInnes.

Both of them have effectively made a mainstream brand their own by relentlessly being seen wearing it. Much like Doc Martens in years prior, the Pit Viper shades and the Fred Perry polo (black and yellow) are forever associated with right-wing politics/subculture from here on.

This isn’t nothing. This is effectively bullying your way into polite society. It’s the marketplace equivalent of “you’re just going to have to deal with it.”

Fred Perry stopped selling the black and yellow polo to try to disassociate from the Proud Boys. It didn’t work and the shirt is available on their website today. Likewise there’s absolutely nothing Pit Viper can do to stop the AF crowd from wearing their stuff. (Of course you’ve got to be mildly retarded to spend 100 bucks on a polo or sunglasses but I digress.)

Back during teagate I speculated that this very thing could be done with Yorkshire Tea. But something even better happened with the birth of Grandma Towler’s, a direct competitor of Yorkshire Tea and staple product for the British scene and quite frankly the general public.

Folks, this is how we win. By bullying and literally owning the libs. Every time the these brands and the people behind them throw up their hands in frustration and are forced to accept the presence of racists in society, the closer we get to victory.
