In a slightly reclined posture in the background, former Woodlands Wellington general manager R Vengadasalam, popularly known as "Venga" in the fraternity, focused his attention on Krishna Ramachandra, one of the speakers at "Ideas For Change" - a gathering initiated by the current Football Association of Singapore (FAS) president Bernard Tan in February 2017, similar to a TED talk.

Krishna served as chairman of Singapore Premier League (SPL) club Tampines Rovers from November 2015 to August 2017, during which he was part of "Game Changers" - one of the two contesting groups in the 2017 FAS elections.

Meanwhile, Venga continued his involvement in the scene with Woodlands Lions FC, a club he founded and has presided over since its inception in 2018.
