Большая двадцатка (G20) поддержала недавно выпущенные FATF рекомендации по регулированию криптовалютной индустрии.
✅Соответствующие рекомендации, финальная версия которых появилась 21 июня, вводят положение, обязывающее операторов криптовалютных сервисов (в первую очередь, биржи криптовалют), передавать друг другу информацию о клиентах при совершении ими переводов средств между биржами. При этом, информация должна передаваться не только о переводах в фиатных валютах, но и о криптовалютных транзакциях.
🔺 «Мы подтверждаем нашу поддержку недавно измененных рекомендаций FATF по регулированию виртуальных активов и связанных с ними операторов. Они должны помочь в борьбе с отмыванием денег и противодействию терроризму», — подчеркнули представители форума.
❗️Отметим, что представители криптовалютной индустрии, в том числе Circle, Coinbase и Chainalysis, считают, что соответствие таким рекомендациям потребует больших средств на разработку, а также невиданную ранее совместную работу всех участников отрасли.
🔽Также представители стран-членов G20 подчеркнули, что организация продолжает «постоянно наблюдать» за разработками в криптовалютной индустрии и «внимательно относится к существующим и возникающим рискам». ✅The relevant recommendations, the final version of which appeared on June 21, introduce a provision requiring operators of cryptocurrency services (cryptocurrency exchanges in the first place) to transfer information about clients to each other when they make transfers of funds between exchanges. At the same time, information should be transmitted not only about transfers in fiat currencies, but also about cryptocurrency transactions.
“We reaffirm our support for the recently amended FATF recommendations on the management of virtual assets and associated operators. They should help in the fight against money laundering and countering terrorism, ”the forum representatives stressed.
❗️ Note that representatives of the cryptocurrency industry, including Circle, Coinbase and Chainalysis, believe that compliance with such recommendations will require large funds for development, as well as unprecedented collaboration of all industry participants.
