Компания Blockstream представила новый инструмент Proof of Reserves, который позволит подтверждать наличие резервов на криптовалютных биржах в биткоине. Алгоритм будет создавать транзакцию, использующую все неизрасходованные выходы UTXO и добавлять один дополнительный.

✅Транзакция, созданная алгоритмом, не будет нести никакой финансовой нагрузки, однако подтвердит платежеспособность той площадки, с которой она была сделана. Разработчики отмечают, что такая функция значительно ускорит процесс обработки запросов, особенно когда речь идет о небольших суммах.
❗️Изначально инструмент планировали использовать для Liquid, запущенного в минувшем году, но позднее разработчики расширили область его применения. Также создатели алгоритма предупредили, что доказательства наличия резервов могут содержать и другую критически важную информацию, из-за чего производить транзакции необходимо по всем правилам безопасности.
☝️Blockstream также представила обновленную версию Cryptocurrency Data Feed. Он собирает информацию о парах на нескольких десятках бирж и предлагает ее пользователям в виде таблицы в удобном интерфейсе.

Users of Opera browser on Android-smartphones got the opportunity to buy Ethereum directly from the crypto-wallet embedded in the application.
✅The service is provided in cooperation with the Safello crypto-brokerage service, which exchanges Fiat for digital currency. Credit and debit cards are available as well as some “trusted” payment systems. At the launch stage, access to the service is provided only to residents of Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Safello, regulated by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, will deal with customer verification. According to Opera, the transfer of the ether to the user's wallet occurs in less than 1 minute.
🔺 “We believe that the next important stage in the development of cryptocurrencies will be determined by the possibilities of their practical application. It is necessary to ensure the simplicity of their purchase and use in order to contribute to a wider dissemination of technology, ”said Charles Hamel, head of Opera’s cryptocurrency direction.
For a limited time, customers from Sweden will be able to enjoy a 2.5% discount from Safello, and customers from Norway and Denmark - a 5% discount, according to the announcement.
