Разработчики запускают обновление, чтобы улучшить производительность платформы и снизить стоимости транзакций.
Constantinople должен привести к улучшенной масштабируемости до того, как будут постепенно внедрены решения Sharding и Casper.
✔️Сейчас у команды Ethereum есть 4 различных предложения по улучшению сети (EIP), которые реализуются различными разработчиками. Byzantium и Constantinople соответствуют различным этапам реализации обновления Metropolis.
🔸Изначально onstantinople был спроектирован как вторая половина обновления протокола. Его главная цель — сгладить переход от алгоритма консенсуса PoW к PoS. Сейчас же ведётся разработка и двух других обновлений: EIP1014 позволит добавлять каналы состояний, а EIP1052 — это новый операционный код, позволяющий сжимать взаимодействие каналов.
❗️Разработчики также заявили, что стараются избегать разногласий. В частности, вспоминают скандал, связанный с появление криптовалюты Ethereum Classic в 2016 году. Тот случай произошёл после взлома сети Ethereum, который обошёлся пользователям в 50 миллионов долларов и показал, что в сети отсутствуют меры безопасности.

Experts from the team Ethereum announced the holding of another hard-core called Constantinople.
Developers launch an update to improve platform performance and reduce transaction costs.
Constantinople should lead to improved scalability before Sharding and Casper solutions are gradually introduced.
✔️The Ethereum team now has 4 different offers for network improvement (EIP), which are implemented by various developers. Byzantium and Constantinople correspond to different stages of the Metropolis update implementation.
🔸 Initially onstantinople was designed as the second half of the protocol update. Its main goal is to smooth the transition from the PoW consensus algorithm to the PoS. Now two other updates are being developed: EIP1014 will allow adding state channels, and EIP1052 is a new operational code that allows to compress the interaction of channels.
❗️The developers also said that they try to avoid disagreements. In particular, they recall the scandal associated with the emergence of the crypto currency Ethereum Classic in 2016. That case occurred after the Ethereum network was broken, which cost users $ 50 million and showed that there are no security measures on the network.
