Ledger представила обновленную прошивку для аппаратных кошельков Ledger Blue. Версия 2.1 доступна в Ledger Manager со 2 июля. Новая версия прошивки также будет предустановлена на партию из 10 тыс. кошельков, заказать которые вскоре можно будет на официальном сайте производителя.
❗️Особенностями новой прошивки названы большая защищенность, функциональность и прочие полагающиеся случаю критерии. В частности, пользователям обещаны более быстрая и удобная процедура изменения пин-кода, функция reset из меню управления и проверка статуса работающих приложений. Расширен также каталог приложений для Ledger Blue — с новой прошивкой устройство сможет поддерживать до 11 приложений, включая продукты сторонних разработчиков. Защищенность обеспечивается в том числе благодаря recovery phrase из 24 слов — отныне пользователь должен будет вводить для подтверждения
все 24 слова.
☝️C новой прошивкой Ledger Blue сможет поддерживать больше криптоактивов, а именно 25 монет, правда в случае с Bitcoin Private и Zencash поддержку только обещают добавить в ближайшее время.
Пользователям также обещана функция «скрытых аккаунтов», уже используемая Ledger Nano S, то есть один основной аккаунт и несколько защищенных фразой-паролем вспомогательных на одном и том же устройстве.
✔️Предполагается, что цена Ledger Blue из новой партии в 10 тыс. единиц с предустановленной прошивкой версии 2.1 составит €229.

Ledger introduced an updated firmware for Ledger Blue hardware wallets. Version 2.1 is available in Ledger Manager from July 2. A new version of the firmware will also be preinstalled for a batch of 10 thousand purses, which can soon be ordered on the official website of the manufacturer.
❗️ Features of the new firmware are called greater security, functionality and other criteria that correspond to the case. In particular, users are promised a faster and more convenient procedure for changing the pin code, a reset function from the control menu and checking the status of running applications. The catalog of applications for Ledger Blue is also extended - with the new firmware the device will be able to support up to 11 applications, including products of third-party developers. Security is also ensured by the recovery phrase of 24 words - from now on the user will have to enter for confirmation
all 24 words.
☝️C new firmware Ledger Blue will be able to support more crypto assets, namely 25 coins, although in the case of Bitcoin Private and Zencash support is only promised to add in the near future.
