📌Energymen are suing the miners and demanding damages from them, and also trying to force them to pay for electricity not at the usual, but at higher commercial rates.
The head of the Irkutskenergosbyt company, Andrey Kharitonov, told reporters that the courts ordered to recover about 100 million rubles from the miners. This money must be paid by citizens who have not registered as entrepreneurs, although they receive income.
▪️Energy has filed more than 400 lawsuits against residents of the region involved in mining. The courts satisfied more than 130 claims.
The plaintiffs demand from the defendants to pay them the difference between the commercial and regular rates.
▪️The Ministry of Emergency Situations also expresses concern about the growth of underground mining in the Irkutsk region.
Andrey Shutov, a representative of the department, emphasized that, through the fault of the miners, fires had already occurred in apartments in Angarsk and other cities.

🔺«Майнинг не является предметом и сферой ответственности Банка России, тем не менее майнинг — это один из способов приобретения криптовалюты в качестве платы, вознаграждения за ту валидацию, транзакцию, которую выполняют в ходе майнинга. В этом плане легализация майнинга может обсуждаться, но тут следует оговорить ряд условий, которые, на наш взгляд, в этой связи должны быть выполнены», — подчеркнул Пронин.
📌Он пояснил, что криптовалюта, сформированная у майнеров в качестве выручки, должна реализовываться за пределами России. Представитель регулятора отметил, что криптовалюта не должна накапливаться внутри страны, чтобы не создавать мотивацию для ее последующего использования в расчетах.

Director of the Department of Financial Technologies of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Kirill Pronin stated this during the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, writes RBC Crypto with reference to Interfax.
🔺 “Mining is not the subject and area of responsibility of the Bank of Russia, however, mining is one of the ways to acquire cryptocurrency as a fee, a reward for that validation, transaction that is performed during mining. In this regard, the legalization of mining can be discussed, but here a number of conditions should be specified, which, in our opinion, must be met in this regard,” Pronin emphasized.
📌He explained that the cryptocurrency generated by the miners as revenue should be sold outside of Russia. The representative of the regulator noted that the cryptocurrency should not be accumulated within the country, so as not to create motivation for its subsequent use in calculations.
