🇷🇺🇹🇳 On December 20 in Cairo, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad of the Republic of Tunisia met on the sidelines of the Second Ministerial Conference of the #RussiaAfrica Partnership Forum.
The Ministers discussed the priorities of further consistent development of the traditionally friendly Russia-Tunisia relations. They reaffirmed their mutual intention to maintain regular trust-based political dialogue, and to expand cooperation in trade, the economy, cultural and humanitarian affairs.
The Parties exchanged opinions on the current issues of the global and regional agendas, with a focus on the situation in the Middle East and North Africa. They highlighted their readiness to continue close coordination in the interests of speedy resolution of crises by political and diplomatic means while relying on the fundamental principles and rules of international law and the central role of the United Nations.

💬 Minister Nafti,
I am glad to have this meeting with you. Russia and Tunisia continue to expand their bilateral relations and cooperation within international organisations.
As far as the bilateral agenda is concerned, Tunisia is now Russia’s second-largest trade partner in Africa. There has been a slight decrease this year, and we can discuss how to resume consistent growth.
I look forward to exchanging views on the international agenda, including in the African region and especially in North Africa.

Сообщаем, что благодаря содействию тунисских властей, предпринявших все необходимые меры для оперативного решения возникшей ситуации, экипаж вертолета благополучно покинул Тунис в ночь с 21 на 22 декабря с.г.

🗓 في يومي 19 و20 ديسمبر، استضافت القاهرة (جمهورية مصر العربية) أعمال المؤتمر الوزاري الثاني لمنتدى الشراكة #روسيا_إفريقيا.
وشهد المؤتمر، الذي عُقد بهذا الإطار وللمرة الأولى على أرض القارة الإفريقية، مشاركة رفيعة المستوى لرؤساء وممثلي وزارات الخارجية في 52 دولة إفريقية، إضافةً إلى ممثلي الأجهزة التنفيذية لثمانية تجمعات إقليمية تكاملية.
وتمثل الحدث الرئيسي في عقد الجلسة العامة برئاسة مشتركة لكلٍّ من وزير خارجية روسيا سيرغي لافروف، ووزير الخارجية والهجرة وشئون المصريين بالخارج في جمهورية مصر العربية الدكتور بدر عبد العاطي. كما جرى خلال الجلسة تلاوة رسالتي الترحيب الموجّهتين من فخامة رئيس روسيا فلاديمير بوتين، ورئيس جمهورية مصر العربية عبد الفتاح السيسي.
وأجرى المشاركون خلال الجلسة مراجعة شاملة وتنسيقاً للمواقف بشأن أبرز القضايا الراهنة على الأجندتين الدولية والروسية الإفريقية، مع التركيز على التنفيذ الكامل لخطة عمل منتدى الشراكة روسيا إفريقيا للأعوام 2023–2026، التي أُقرت خلال القمة الروسية الإفريقية الثانية التي عُقدت في سانت بطرسبورغ عام 2023.
☝️ وتم إيلاء اهتمام خاص لتطوير العلاقات في مجالي التجارة والاقتصاد والاستثمار، فضلاً عن مناقشة المجالات الواعدة لمواصلة وتعميق التعاون المشترك.
وفي ختام أعمال المؤتمر، تم اعتماد بيان مشترك يعكس الرؤى والمقاربات المشتركة إزاء معالجة القضايا العالمية، ويؤكد التوجه المتبادل نحو تعزيز التعاون متعدد الأبعاد، بما يضمن الإعداد النوعي والفعّال للقمة الروسية الإفريقية الثالثة المقرر عقدها عام 2026.

🇷🇺🇹🇳 Le 20 décembre, au Caire, en marge de la Deuxième Conférence ministérielle du Forum de partenariat #RussieAfrique, une rencontre a eu lieu entre le Ministre russe des Affaires étrangères, Sergueï Lavrov, et le Ministre tunisien des Affaires étrangères, des Migrations et des Tunisiens de l'étranger, Mohamed Ali Nafti.
Au cours de la conversation, les priorités du développement progressif des relations russo-tunisiennes, traditionnellement amicales, ont été abordées. La volonté mutuelle de maintenir un dialogue politique régulier fondé sur la confiance et de développer la coopération commerciale, économique, culturelle et sociale a été réaffirmée.
Un échange de vues a eu lieu sur l'agenda mondial et régional, notamment sur la situation au Moyen-Orient et en Afrique du Nord. La volonté de poursuivre une étroite coopération afin de résoudre rapidement les crises par des moyens politiques et diplomatiques, en s'appuyant sur les principes et normes fondamentaux du droit international, l'ONU jouant un rôle central, a été soulignée.

💬 Je suis ravi de vous voir. Nous entretenons traditionnellement des relations bilatérales étroites et coopérons au sein des organisations internationales.
En parlant des relations bilatérales, la Tunisie est le deuxième pays africain en termes de volume d'échanges commerciaux avec la Russie. Un léger recul a été constaté cette année, mais nous examinerons les moyens de renouer avec cette tendance positive.
Je serais heureux d'échanger de vues avec vous sur la situation internationale, y compris en Afrique, et plus particulièrement en Afrique du Nord.
