The Original WPIX Yule Log Christmas Eve Stream
In 1966, New York City WPIX (Channel 11) aired a filmed loop of a crackling fireplace for Christmas Eve. The idea was simple and practical: give apartment-dwellers in NYC the feeling of a real fireplace. It originally aired commercial-free, with only classical Christmas music and the sound of the fire. It became immensely popular, drawing millions of viewers and quickly, other TV stations across the U.S. copied the idea. Over time, it evolved from a local NYC broadcast into a national holiday custom. In fact, The WPIX Yule Log was so popular that when it was briefly discontinued in the 1970s, viewers complained loudlyโhelping bring it back and cement its status as a Christmas institution.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the precious gift of the Holy Spirit. I am grateful for Your divine guidance and comfort in my life.
Help me to be open to the teachings and reminders of the Holy Spirit, so I may walk in Your truth and peace. May Your Spirit lead me in every step I take, filling me with wisdom and understanding.
I seek Your light on my path as I navigate through my personal challenges and decisions. Grant me the wisdom to discern Your will and the courage to follow it. May Your love be my guide and Your truth the compass for my journey. In every step, let me feel Your presence, guiding me towards the fulfillment of Your divine plans.
In the name of the Lord of Lords & King of Kings Jesus Christ I pray.

I am grateful. SO grateful. For grace, for mercy, for forgiveness, for kindness, for love, for hope, for faith, for friendship, for kinship, for abundance, for peace, for comfort, for calm, for protection, for LIFE.
I am truly grateful for every single thing I have - not the least of which is the connection I have with all of you.
