Tomorrow, six years ago #Turkey started a brutal occupation war against #Afrin in North & East Syria. While hundreds of thousands were displaced the remaining population lives today under an exploitative & torturing regime of Turkish controlled islamist mercenary groups & Turkey.

Today is the sixth anniversary of the start of the occupation war of Turkey against Afrin in North and East Syria. While thousands lost their lives in the war itself, hundreds of thousands got forcefully displaced. Many are still living in refugee camps in Sheba, close to Afrin, hoping to one day return to a liberated homeland. In a video, we give voice to the Afrin refugees.

🌹Nudem Wan gave a big effort to the #Rojava revolution and as a #YPJ fighter played a role in the fight against #ISIS. She was aligned to the philosophy of women's freedom and a free societal life. She was martyred on January 17th as a result of illness.

Today is the anniversary of the liberation of #Kobane from #ISIS. It symbolizes the struggle that the YPJ and YPG waged for humanity. It took great sacrifices from the people of North and East Syria to defeat ISIS.

🛡️The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria announced the third part of the operation "security and humanity" in Hol camp where #ISIS women and children are kept. #YPJ took part in the operation. Until now mines were confiscated, and military fortifications were found.

🌹 #YPG fighter Bahoz Amed was martyred on November 17th, 2023 while commanding an action against the Turkish occupation state, and it's Mercenary forces in #AinIssa.

🌹#YPG fighter Birûsk Zendura was martyred on January 2nd due to an accident. After he and his family had been displaced because of ISIS attacks against Gire Spi in 2014, he decided to join YPG when he saw the Turkish occupation war against Serekaniye and Gire Spi in 2019.

🌹#YPG fighter Mazin El Şêx was martyred after he was injured during an accident. He was from an arabic family and born in #Hama, #Syria and struggled with the philosophy of creating Democratic Nation.

🛡️ Today three more #ISIS Mercenaries were captured during the third part of the "Security and Humanity" operation in Al Hol camp were ISIS women and children live. Until now 34 were arrested. #YPJ forces confesticated large weapon arsenals during the operation.

🌹 Ebduselam El Ehmed, Mihemed El Saîd, Yamin Şedad & Rebah El Ehmed were martyred due to Turkish drone strikes against an Internal Security Forces center in #Qamişlo. This while the Internal Security Forces currently continue an operation in the Al Hol camp against #ISIS cells.

During the third phase of the operation of "Security and Humanity" in al Hol camp, a Yazidi women with the name Kovan Ido Xorto from the village of Herdan in #Shengal was liberated by the #YPJ from #ISIS.

Several bombings occurred this evening in the area of Shahba.

➡️ In #Shahba, refugees from #Afrin lived for 6 years in 5 refugee camps
➡️ They live under an embargo from the Syrian regime
➡️ The Turkish State is often attacking those areas, making civilians victims.

🎥 Today at 1pm, local time, the Federation of Wounded of the War of North and East Syria has been targeted from #Turkey with armed drone in #Qamishlo.
➡️ The bombed place is in the Erbawî neighborhood to the east of Qamishlo.

The federation of the wounded of war makes a call to take a position against those attacks and underlines that:

➡️ There are also heavily injured people
➡️ They lost part of their body (legs, eyes or so) while defending humanity against ISIS: targeting them means helping ISIS against humanity.
