"At President Trump's direction, Director Ratcliffe traveled to Venezuela to meet with interim President Delcy Rodriguez to deliver the message that the United States looks forward to an improved working relationship," a U.S. official said in a statement to Just the News.

"During the meeting in Caracas, Director Ratcliffe discussed potential opportunities for economic collaboration and made clear that Venezuela can no longer be a safe haven for America's adversaries, especially narco-traffickers," the official added.

Trump personally authorized Ratcliffe's visit, and the CIA director took a small team of officials with him.

"This was about trust-building measures and laying the groundwork for continued communication and room for collaboration between the two governments," an official explained. "The CIA director made it clear that Venezuela can no longer provide support to drug trafficking organizations, including Tren de Aragua."

Dear @ShawnRyan762, you truly have no idea what you're talking about. You're just fomenting ridiculous hysteria, without familiarizing yourself with the basic factual and legal issues -- as per usual with this subject.

I said months ago that the Epstein Files Transparency Act contained huge carveouts that would authorize or even mandate expansive redactions to the "files," on the grounds of concealing the "identifying information" of alleged "victims." Given how intertwined the "files" would inevitably be with such information, the inevitable result would be extremely excessive redactions, in a manner that's antithetical to any notion of genuine "transparency."

As expected, this has since come to pass. And it was by design -- given the adamant insistence that any and all material associated with alleged "victims" be concealed in perpetuity. (Which just so happens to enable "victims" and their lawyers to continue pursuing insanely lucrative lawsuits.) Even alleged "victims" who have already chosen to publicly reveal themselves are having their "identifying information" redacted by the DOJ in these "files." Explain that for us, please. Explain what "coverup" that's supposed to suggest.
