MORE INFO: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday that Ukraine had tried to attack President Vladimir Putin's residence in the Novgorod region and so Moscow's negotiating position would be reviewed.
Lavrov said that on Dec. 28-29, Ukraine had attacked the Russian president's state residence in the Novgorod region with 91 long-range drones which were all destroyed by Russian air defences.
He said that targets had already been selected for retaliatory strikes by Russia's armed forces.
Lavrov noted that the attack took place during negotiations about a possible Ukrainian peace deal and that while Russia would not leave the negotiations, Moscow's position will be reviewed.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said the accusation was a lie, adding that Moscow was preparing the ground to strike government buildings in Kyiv.

NEW CONFESSIONπ¨: Brian Cole Jr., a 30-year-old bail bondsman from Virginia, confessed to planting two pipe bombs outside the Democratic and Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C., on January 5, 2021.
He admitted constructing the bombs using materials from Lowe's and instructions from a video game and YouTube videos, planting them at night under the belief they would not explode.
Cole expressed relief that no one was injured and stated he did not intend to cause deaths, aiming instead for media attention.
His actions were allegedly motivated by beliefs that the 2020 election was rigged, discussed on platforms like YouTube and Reddit, and frustration with both political parties.
He attended the January 6 rally but claimed he was not politically outspoken and kept views private from family.
Cole initially denied involvement but confessed after seeing surveillance footage. He discarded remaining materials at a dump.
Charged with transporting explosives with intent to kill, he faces detention without bail, with prosecutors highlighting the premeditated risk to public safety, including nearby political figures. The arrest ends a five-year probe that included a $500,000 reward and generated conspiracy theories.
Defense attorneys noted Cole's severe autism, though no related court filings on detention were detailed.

Being as patient as he's been all while suffering through what he has to date (on our behalf, mind you), I believe Trump is now poised to finally raise absolute hellfire on all of those who deserve nothing less.
This is why I harbor zero doubt that 2026 is set to be lit...b/c it has to be.

Actress, singer, animal rights activist, and right-wing figure Brigitte Bardot has passed away at the age of 91.
She frequently spoke out about the Islamization of France and was tried at least 5 times for statements critical of Muslims. She once said, βI am fed up with being under the thumb of this population which is destroying us, destroying our country.β
In 1998, she was convicted for decrying the loss of French identity and traditions due to the βmultiplication of mosques while our church bells fall silent for want of priests.β
Bardot was long known for her beauty and acting career, but her clearest legacy was her outspoken recognition of what she saw as the takeover of the West by foreigners and her willingness to voice those grievances.
RIP to a true patriot of the West.

JUST IN: A Utah judge ruled that a redacted transcript and audio recording from an October closed-door hearing in the assassination case of conservative activist Charlie Kirk can be released.
The transcript is expected on Monday, with the audio to follow in coming weeks after redactions.
Redactions will apply to security measures but not to already public details. Graf noted that potential risks to Robinsonβs fair trial can be mitigated through evidence and criminal procedure rules.
The judge rejected treating news media as a limited party but required both sides to notify the press of certain hearings and case updates.
Robinsonβs next court date is January 16, 2026.
