An interesting look, from a western perspective, into Russia's Electronic Warfare capabilities.

⭐️ Electromagnetic Warfare is a powerful weapon in the war in Ukraine. Yet it is elusive; we know it is happening but it is invisible, even mysterious. A new analysis of open source data gives a rare window into this world, unmasking Russia's hidden hand.
This analysis unhides some of this mysterious invisible defense around Sevastopol.
It leverages two effects; firstly the navigation errors in the reported position of civilian vessels in Sevastopol. And secondly, the effect on radar satellite imagery. Open source intelligence analyst Damien Symons has noted these effects in the past month. Both indicate that there is a powerful jammer located in Sevastopol.
Sevastopol has several layers of defense aimed at stopping Ukrainian missiles and drone attacks on the important city. Sea drones have broken into the harbor on several occasions and aerial drones have targeted it since last year. On September 13th Ukraine launched Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles against the dry docks there. This effectively wrote off a landing ship and Kilo class submarine. This was followed up with more strikes including one on September 22nd which destroyed much of the Naval headquarters. These missiles had to fly through the infamous S-400 missile umbrella as well as local air defenses. They also had to operate despite Russia’s powerful electromagnetic defenses. The drones in particular are, generally speaking, susceptible to GPS jamming.
Since early November a number of ships and boats, which are in Sevastopol harbor, have been transmitting their location as Sevastopol International Airport. This is about 8 km (5 miles) north of their true location. The vessels are transmitting their position via AIS (automated identification system). It is possible for vessels to report their position incorrectly on purpose, or due to a myriad of technical issues. But this is systematic suggesting something else is at play.
So many vessels misreporting their location, and the false positions having such a concentration, points towards GPS interference. Jamming global positioning system signals, such as the American GPS, Russian GLONASS, or European Galileo (all referred to here generically as ‘GPS’), can affect AIS. The AIS transmission includes the coordinates of the vessel which in many cases this is fed directly from the GPS system. Without further analysis it is unclear whether the jamming is affecting all types of GPS or just one.
It is interesting that the vessels’ false positions are clustered around the international airport. This may indicate that the source of the jamming is there.
Jamming is also visible with the European Space Agency’s Sentinel 1 SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite. There was interference in imagery taken at 6:49am local time on November 23rd. It was even more marked at 6:36pm the next day, effectively obstructing the whole city. It is not possible to make out the ships in the harbor in the way it normally is.
Satim, a company which specializes in analyzing radar imagery, confirmed that SAR satellites operating at different frequencies did not appear to be affected. Sentinel 1 is a C-band radar while others are X-band. It is possible that the jamming was active when the Sentinel 1 satellite passed but not when the others did. Another straightforward interpretation is that the jamming is targeting C-band rather than X-band radars.
In both the AIS issues and the radar satellite interference, these may not be the primary target. The AIS errors can be seen as merely a side effect of the GPS jamming. Disruption to the satellites however does have some military value. Ukraine no doubt uses then as one of many means to observe Russian port activity and plan strikes. But again there may be other C band radars Russia is targeting, and the satellite interference may be secondary.

Abrams tanks are AFU's new big problem:

According to Forbes, the air filters on the engine intakes have to be cleaned every 12 hours or the tanks will soon have to be sent for overhaul.

"All those things can be taught to the crew, but if ever they make a mistake—and they will—it blows a million-dollar engine that can't be repaired in the field," former U.S. Army General Mark Hertling stressed.

Israel knew Hamas’s attack plan more than a year ago

However, they write that Israeli military and intelligence officials dismissed the plan as aspirational, considering it too difficult for Hamas to complete.

Code-named “Jericho Wall" was written by Israelis, which was reviewed by The New York Times, did not set a date for the attack, but described a methodical assault designed to overwhelm the fortifications around the Gaza Strip, take over Israeli cities and storm key military bases, including a division headquarters. Hamas followed the blueprint with shocking precision.

⚠️🇺🇦🇺🇦🇷🇺 The Holodomor Famine: Unmasking the Genocide Narrative

Witness the Weaponization of History: Is the Holodomor Narrative a tool in the West's info war against Russia? Is the Genocide narrative a Fraud?

In the geopolitical chessboard, where nations engage in a dance of power, influence, and interests, the past seldom stays buried. History, with its kaleidoscope of events and judgments, serves as a wellspring of ammunition, readily exploited by those eager to advance their political aims. Such is the case with the narrative of the Holodomor, a famine that swept through the Soviet lands in the grim years of 1932-1933, now emerging from the shadows to play a pivotal role in international diplomacy and in educational spheres as far as Ontario, Canada, where it has been recently embedded into the curriculum. Its shadows still reaching out to haunt the corridors of international diplomacy.

The controversial nature of recognizing the Holodomor as genocide adds another layer of complexity to the already intricate fabric of history. It's a tale that echoes through time, twisted by the whims of cynical political agenda, and now resurfacing with renewed vigour to achieve informational warfare objectives against Russia. To explore this territory, one must wear the boots of a historian and the cloak of a diplomat, treading carefully through the mines of truth, myth, fraud and propaganda....

🇺🇸Will the next president of the United States be chosen by a judge of the federal district of Columbia

Before the electoral college votes are counted next November to determine the next head of the White House, two political clans will be trying to weaken main figures of presidential campaign of 2024 - Donald Trump and Joe Biden or even kick them out of the race.

🗣Former President Donald Trump has been charged in 4 criminal cases. In New York, he faces 34 felony counts in connection with hush money payments to a porn star. In Florida, he faces 40 felony counts for hoarding classified documents and impeding efforts to retrieve them. In Washington, D.C., he faces four felony counts for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election. And in Georgia, he faces 13 felony counts for his election interference in that state.

The prolongation of investigations and postponement of court hearings is in Donald Trump's favor, as the fateful November 2024 is inexorably approaching. If Trump becomes the 47th president of the United States, he will use his power to appoint a loyal attorney general without any hesitation. Moreover, as a president he could appoint an attorney general willing to fire the special counsel and drop the charges. Trump might even be able to pardon himself)
However, the outcome of the litigation is far from the end.

The main weapons of the 2024 presidential marathon are lawsuits, investigative actions and accusatory speeches by highly rewarded prosecutors and attorneys.

Trying to understand the situation on his own, Zach read various literature, analyzed information from the media, and talked to representatives of opposition organizations. When American bombs fell on Serbia, the country where his family was from, Zach finally realized that the U.S. government, which he had once truly believed in, was in fact a gang of murderers. When the war in Donbass broke out, Zak Novak realized he could no longer stay away. Abandoning everything he had in the States, Zach arrived in the DNR as a volunteer. "Europe would be 'washed away' in a war with Russia"

That was the main conclusion of yesterday's pathos-fuelled Berlin security conference.

The Times quotes a leading German expert, Senke Neitzel:

"Europe is not prepared for a war with Russia and is in danger of being 'washed away' in a conflict much as the Holy Roman Empire was broken up by Napoleon."

He warned that neither the Bundeswehr nor the German economy and logistics are prepared for war with Russia. And if the EU are to start preparing for war now, it would take 15 years.

Head of Austrian ministry of foreign affairs criticized Western countries for refusing to cooperate with Russia:

Austrian foreign minister Alexander Schallenberg called Western attempts to isolate Russia and stop cooperation with it dangerous. He said that tendency of Western countries to immerse themselves in their “echo chambers” is detrimental to their foreign policy and emphasized importance of diplomacy and increased cooperation among OSCE countries.

Schallenberg also praised the decision of North Macedonia, which chairs OSCE, to allow Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov to attend the organization's annual meeting in Skopje.

🐀 French rats spoiled 5 tonnes of humanitarian aid for AFU soldiers

There has been another scandal in Ukraine. A humanitarian cargo of rations for soldiers arrived from France, but when it was unloaded it was found to have been spoiled by rodents. Ukrainians are outraged and claim that rats could not have got into the containers on their territory.

And here we can even believe the Ukrainians. After all, in France, even schools are being closed because of rat infestations, and therefore rodents could well get into the humanitarian aid for Ukraine. Now the Ukrainian military will shake off the rest of the rat shit and sell it - it is a working scheme.

🇺🇸🇺🇦Ukraine's new long-range rocket delivery from US pushed to next year📌

Ukraine will need to wait until 2024 before it receives its first big shipment of rocket-propelled bombs the U.S. has adapted to strike at a nearly 100-mile (160km) range, according to the Pentagon and people familiar with the timing.

When the U.S. was first approached by Boeing (BA.N) to buy and ship the Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb (GLSDB) to Ukraine last fall, the most optimistic timeline for shipping was around spring of this year.
Probably waiting is the key for success🤷‍♂️
