The Strategic Importance of Operation Absolute Resolve
This past weekend, in a brilliant three-hour joint law enforcement/military operation, Trump decoupled Venezuela (and possibly all of the Western Hemisphere) from China, Iran, and Russia.
The strategic importance of this cannot be overstated.
This is a crippling blow to America's adversaries across the globe. The equivalent of a liver kick to Russia, a foot-breaking stomp to China, and an armbar to the Iranian regime.
In this video I take you through some of what we know about Operation Absolute Resolve and give commentary on its strategic value and impacts in this hemisphere and across the globe.

Maduro Indictment Reading and Commentary
The new superseding indictment brings charges against Nicolas Maduro Moros, Diosdado Cabello Rondon, Ramon Rodriguez Chacin, Cilia Adela Flores De Maduro, Nicolas Ernesto Maduro Guerra, and Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores.
Those charges are
1) Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy
2) Cocaine Importation Conspiracy
3) Possession of Machine Guns and Destructive Devices
4) Conspiracy to Possess (the above)
Plus forfeiture.
Nicolás Maduro Moros and his wife, Cilia Adela Flores de Maduro, are in U.S. custody. The rest are fugitives. For now.
Importantly, also in U.S. custody is a key individual who I expect will be a highly valuable cooperative witness against the Maduros—Hugo Armando Carvajal-Barrios, aka "El Pollo" (whom the case is titled after). He pleaded guilty last summer and currently awaits sentencing.
Also in U.S. custody and possibly of use to the prosecution are Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera aka "El Chapo," his sons Joaquín Guzmán López, aka El Güero Moreno, and Ovidio Guzmán López; and Ismael Mario Zambada García, aka "El Mayo."
There's also a significant number of TdA leaders and leaders or members of other cartels who have been apprehended by authorities recently, and they may have information that would be of use to the prosecution in this case.

They could have been doing this since at least 2018 but didn't have the courage to do so until Trump had U.S. forces do it within reach of the U.K.'s own waters.
Once that occurred, they could no longer pretend that it couldn't be done.
It was a matter of a will, not a way.

Indicators of Iranian Regime Collapse: Special Report
"The ongoing protests in Iran mark the most serious domestic unrest that the Islamic Republic has faced. The protests could alter the character of the regime fundamentally or even topple it.
CTP-ISW currently assesses that the unprecedentedly brutal crackdown that the regime is conducting has broadly suppressed protest activity and may get the protests under control if no other factors intervene. The internet blackout, now extended to efforts to find and confiscate Starlink and other satellite communications dishes, makes assessing the current extent of protest activity difficult, but indirect indicators strongly suggest that more protests are taking place than CTP-ISW can document. The regime has responded to this protest wave with much more force and lethality than in any previous wave, indicating its fear that it can lose control of the situation. It remains unclear whether the regime will be able to sustain the current levels of oppression long enough to end this protest wave...
This document identifies indicators of reduced regime stability and the degree to which we have observed evidence that those indicators have been tripped (that is, that a given indicator now points toward regime instability).
