The curtain is about to drop for the Iranian year 1396 and as we draw closer to the end of a year let us think for a moment about what we need to change or improve in our lives as we prepare to start the new year. The resolutions we make today, for the new year, must be worth fighting for. They must be part of a long term plan which is going to take us right to our final destination eventually.

Let us gather and join our good thoughts and prayers and ask God the Almighty to guide us through the darkest moments of our lives and help us find our true paths to true love, peace and happiness.

There is nothing I can wish for except health and happiness for you all.

Happy new year to you all ❤️

They say "A man is a man if he keeps his promises and pays his debts".
But it seems that I am not that kind man whose qualities would match the ones described above.
On several occasions, I have made promises to keep the flow of materials and things on the channel going but it seems that keeping those promises was beyond my capabilities.
I am not going to make new promises again, but i just wanted to sincerely thank you all for sticking around and wish you good luck.

What's the origin of the phrase 'A penny for your thoughts'?

Sir Thomas MoreThe first known use of it is by Sir Thomas More in A Treatyce upon the last thynges, circa 1535:

"when people notice that someone appears disengaged and wish them to rejoin the conversation they ask 'a penny for your thoughts'."

The expression became so well used that it was often shortened to 'a penny for them' or even just 'penny', as in H. G. Wells' novel Love & Mr. Lewisham, 1900:

‘Penny,’ she said after an interval. Lewisham started and looked up. ‘Eh?’.
