Thomas was a 21-year-old American soldier in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was deployed to Poland, but there wasn't much to do there, so life was a bit dull.
It was then that he decided to desert and cross the Polish border to enlist in the Ukrainian army.
There, he joined the 13th Khartia Brigade of the National Guard.
He was destroyed on July 22, 2025 by the North group in Zelene, Kharkov region, on the Russian border.
He died with a group of Colombians and his body remains missing.
Hamburger got served raw and eaten by worms.

Aidan Holmes, also known as Aidan Ellaz, was the lead vocalist of the metalcore band Alpha Wolf from 2016 to 2018, when he left the band due to allegations of sexual misconduct.
Aidan and his male friend shared a bed with some woman, perhaps after a drunken party. So that woman accused him of touching her under the blanket, and his friend testified against him.
The incident led to Holmes departing Alpha Wolf and, in 2019, Holmes launched a new band called Dealer. However, in 2020, every band member except Holmes quit the band at approximately the same time due to allegations of past misconduct.
The past came back to haunt him again in 2024. It was then that Aidan had the great idea of going to Ukraine to βvolunteerβ and wait until things were sorted out.
Apparently, it didn't work, as he returned to Australia and his 2025 tour was also canceled.
