🇸🇾🇯🇴/🇮🇱 Statement Issued by the Council of Jordanian Tribes
Amman – July 19, 2025
⚜️@TheSimurgh313
Amman – July 19, 2025
In light of the recent meeting between the Council of Jordanian Tribes, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, his counterpart from the Syrian Arab Republic, and the U.S. government envoy Mr. “Barak,” we, the Council of Jordanian Tribes, affirm the following:
1. The Jordanian tribes, as the natural extension of their brothers in southern Syria, especially in the province of Sweida, are closely and deeply concerned about the developments unfolding there. We fully understand the sensitivity of this phase and the complexity of the political and military situation.
2. Based on the discussions held in the meeting, and in response to the calls for non-intervention in Syria’s internal affairs, we affirm our commitment to the unity of Syrian territory and our rejection of any internal strife or foreign interference that could threaten the social fabric or lead to further bloodshed.
3. Nevertheless, we, in the Council of Tribes, issue a clear and direct warning: any direct military intervention by the Zionist entity on Syrian soil—particularly in the south—will be met with an immediate response by the sons of the Jordanian tribes. This action would be taken in defense of the dignity of the Ummah, in loyalty to the Arab and Islamic bond, and in rejection of any infringement on Arab sovereignty or decision-making.
4. We remind all parties that the tribes are not a passive or forgotten force in history; they are present and vigilant. And when the battle intensifies, they know how to take a stand—writing their statements through action before words.
5. We urge all international and regional actors to respect the will of the people and to refrain from igniting a fire they will not escape. If the fire erupts in Sweida, it will not stop at Jabal al-Arab—it will have consequences both immediate and long-term.
In conclusion, we affirm that the Jordanian tribes have always been—and will remain—a pillar of Arab national security. However, they refuse to be silent witnesses when the dignity of their brothers is violated or sovereignty is infringed upon.

📝 So they were able to move when Gaza called for help, but they didn't want to huh?

‘Our weapons do not belong to us, our weapons belong to the martyrs. If the martyrs permit them [the enemies] to take the weapons, only then it will happen. These weapons are a trust in our necks. No one will be able to make us - neither through a good way nor through a bad way - surrender our weapons. These weapons hold our honor and dignity. We will never give up these weapons. We would give up our souls but the weapons never.
And had this weapon that is with me not going to be needed by one of the fighter brothers, I would have written in my will that I want this weapon to be buried with me.’
— An excerpt from the will of Hezbollah martyr Ni'matullah Hussein Malah "Abu Mustafa"

🇸🇾🇱🇧 A decade ago, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned senior leaders of the Druze sect about the terrorist gangs they were supporting in the media and describing as “freedom fighters.” What he mentioned ten years ago is now coming true for the Druze.

🇯🇴 🤝 🇸🇾 ❌ 🇸🇾 — Jordanian clans released a statement warning to get involved in the fighting in Syria.
➡️ The Jordanian clans have met with the Jordanian and Syrian foreign ministers and the US ambassador to Turkey, agreeing to not get involved in the fighting in Syria and respect its sovereignty.
➡️ However, the clans warn that any involvement of Israel in southern Syria will be met with a direct intervention by the Jordanian clans to support the Syrian bedouin clans.
📝 Ironically the Jordanian foreign minister is Druze.

🇸🇾 Syria current situation explained Intense tribal clashes erupted in the southern Syrian province of Suwayda on Saturday and Sunday (July 12–13), resulting in at least 21 deaths and over 50 injuries, according to multiple sources including Reuters, Xinhua…
🇸🇾 To understand the current situation, refer to this post we reply to, the rest down below will be a nutshell of current events
Following the heavy Israeli bombardment of Damascus and retaliatory attacks by some Druze elements targeting Bedouin civilians, all Syrian tribes declared full mobilization and began moving toward As-Suwayda. Israeli airstrikes initially targeted these large tribal convoys but halted after a temporary "ceasefire" was reached with the Jolani government. As part of the agreement, the Syrians were given 48 hours to resolve the conflict by deploying government forces to stop the advancing tribes (The 48 Hours will end today)
However, the plan quickly unraveled. Rather than de-escalating, more fighters from both the tribal factions and Jolani’s official forces poured into As-Suwayda.
In response to American pressure, Jolani announced an "immediate" ceasefire. Yet, Al-Hijri soon revealed the conditions of that ceasefire، which sparked backlash. Both tribal fighters and Jolani forces, already entrenched inside the city, rejected the terms.
