Titor’s claims included a curious detail about New York City missing a familiar skyscraper in his timeline—a statement he made before the events of 9/11.

Despite the skepticism surrounding Titor, his story persisted, largely thanks to online forums and a dedicated website created by fan Oliver Williams.

Titor’s mythology also gained traction on the popular radio show Coast to Coast AM, where he initially sent faxes detailing his mission and ominous views about our future.
