Howdie Mickoski | City Fires 1800's- Warfare Attack or City Stupidity? Historical Lies Series

In the 1800's nearly every city in North America went through a fire that burned most of their city down. When looking at the photographs however, the cities look more the result of a World War 2 bombing raid than just a city fire. Supposedly burning due to all wooden buildings, the photos show mostly brick and stone structures melted and pulverized.
Was this result of some kind of nation wide unknown war?
Or if the historical narrative of co-incidental fires is accurate, why did cities not make better fire plans after more and more cities burned down?
A key part of unlocking the story of what happened in the 1800's is in these city fire photographs. What was this?
