American scientists have developed a concept for a grow-your-own steak kit using human cells and blood. "Ouroboros Steak" could be grown at home using your own cells, which are harvested from the inside of your cheek and fed serum derived from expired, donated blood.
If you remember the ouroboros symbol, it depicts a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. Originating in ancient Egyptian iconography, the ouroboros entered western tradition via Greek magical tradition and was adopted as a symbol in Gnosticism and Hermeticism and most notably in alchemy.
