The only reasons people should leave their homes, Mr Macron said, will be to buy essential goods, seek medical care, or exercise for an hour a day.

Cabaret de l'Enfer (The Cabaret of Hell) was a famous cabaret in Montmartre, founded in November 1892 by Antonin Alexander. The Cabaret de L'Enfer was the counterpart to The Cabaret du Ciel (The Cabaret of Heaven), another cabaret which shared the same address on the Boulevard de Clichy. Antonin Alexander was the creator, director, and host of the twin ventures.
Supposedly upon approaching the doors, which were double and wooden with a gaping devils mouth baring its fangs looming from above, a doorsman clad in a Satan costume would bellow: โEnter and be damned!โ
Once inside patrons would sit at small black tables, under a low, arched ceiling with plaster cast demons reaching down at them, their faces screaming and snarling.

Is Consumerism Killing Our Creativity?
The dopamine circuits โpromote states of eagerness and directed purpose,โ Panksepp writes. Itโs a state humans love to be in. So good does it feel that we seek out activities, or substances, that keep this system aroused.
The consumerist search capitalizes on the same โseekingโ part of the brain that fuels the rush. Of course, while consumerism can serve as an addictive substitute for the stimulation of creative activity, it offers nowhere near the same reward in the long term.

"An inventor in Canada named John Hutchison is credited with one of scienceโs most unusual and controversial discoveries. It is described as a โhighly-anomalous electromagnetic effect which causes the jellification of metals, spontaneous levitation of common substances, and other effects.โ It is known as the Hutchison Effect, or the H-Effect for short.
What the H-Effect is purported to do is nothing short of extraordinary. It is said to cause objects to defy gravity, cause metal to spontaneously fracture, cause dissimilar materials to fuse (such as metal and wood), and other strange phenomena. Hutchison has captured the effect on video many times, and claims to have demonstrated it for scientists from U.S. Army intelligence. But the claims are mired in doubt because the effect is not reproducible, even by the discoverer himself."
