Simona Kossak (1943-2007) was a fascinating Polish scientist, ecologist, and environmental champion who made it her mission to protect the Biatowieza Primeval Forest, Europe's oldest forest.

Simona had an extraordinary connection with nature and animals. Living in a cozy wooden hut without electricity or running water for over 30 years, Simona shared her space with a lynx and a tame wild boar.
Her pet "terror crow" became quite the character, notorious for stealing shiny objects and even attacking unsuspecting cyclists.

Despite her unconventional lifestyle, Simona made significant scientific strides in nature conservation. She tirelessly advocated against the destruction of the Biatowieza Forest, leaving a lasting legacy in Poland's environmental protection efforts.
Her unique life and passionate work continue to inspire those who cherish and protect our natural world.

According to information from local residents, the presence of the Giant footprint attached to the rocky cliff above the Jangkok River in Indonesia is believed to be the footprints of Datu Keling.

Datu Keling is believed to have been a fierce Giant who ruled around the slopes of Mount Rinjani.

🇬🇧 Silent witnesses to the melting history of the Earth

These strange and curious rock formations are located on the mountain of Renon, in the Italian Alps.

They are known by the name of Earth Pyramids and they do not leave anyone indifferent.

Perhaps, the origin of these pillars, shaped like a cone of deposited clay and a rock on top, and reminiscent of towers of a huge bastion, has little natural or random.

🇬🇧 Prunus serrula, or silk cherry

Hiding in the shady forests of East Asia is a tree that seems to be covered with copper.

Its trunk shimmers in reddish-brown shades, which look almost metallic in the sunlight.

When light rays touch the smooth bark, it sparkles like polished bronze or an antique copper vessel.

The bark is silky to the touch, slightly flaky and has thin, barely noticeable stripes that give it a special texture.

🇬🇧 Was also Petra melted?

Whenever we hear about Petra, we are shown the same photo, but there are actually way more interesting curiosities outside this complex.

Supposedly from 400 bc, but could be much older. If you examine this structure closer, you will soon realize that this whole complex looks like it has been hit and melted by some sort of energy weapon/bomb, resulting in melted stone.

For example in Vedas theres a poetic description about weapons and it's power that was used on an enemy. Depictions of a weapon that "blossomed like a flower" and "turned birds into ash instantly".

What could possibly melt granite rocks in ancient times, if we were supposedly pulling carts with horses at that time?
