ملخص الحادثة:
تعرض الشاب إيلي سيمون تقلا لإطلاق نار متعمد من قبل ملثمين كانوا يترصدون السيارة التي كان فيها، وانتظروا خروج والد الشهيد من السيارة والتفافه لفتح الباب الخلفي وأخذ الحقيبة قبل أن يطلقوا النار على إيلي أثناء دخوله إلى البناية، ما أدى إلى استشهاده، ثم فرّوا من المكان.

⚠️ تشير الوقائع إلى أن الحادثة لم تكن محاولة سرقة عابرة، بل عملية ترصد واستهداف مباشر للشاب.
وتعود أسباب الاستهداف إلى تهديدات مستمرة تلقاها ابن الصائغ منذ حادثة وقعت قبل عامين، عندما تعرض لمحاولة احتيال/اعتداء داخل محل الصائغ من قبل شخصين، تم توقيفهما لاحقًا من قبل الشرطة وحكم عليهما بالسجن، (و يقال -و ليس مؤكداً- بأن احد هذين الشابين توفي في السجن).. و منذ ذلك الحين يتلقى ابن الصائغ تهديدات متواصلة بالقتل من قبل سلطة الأمر الواقع.

• السيارة التي استخدمها القتلة كانت مسروقة، واللوحة أيضاً مسروقة من باص نقل
• 🏴‍☠️ هكذا أصبحت سوريا مقراً للعصابات والإرهاب، حيث تتزايد أعمال العنف والتهديدات على المدنيين العزل على أساس طائفي بشكل متسلسل ومنظم

كما وشهدت ساحة كنيسة الصليب المقدس في دمشق وقفة تضامنية مع أهالي الشهيد إيلي سيمون تقلا، عبّر المشاركون فيها عن رفضهم لثقافة الجريمة و الارهاب والعصابات وانتشار السلاح، وطالبوا بحقهم في حياة كريمة.

• 🕊️ بموكب مهيب ودعت مدينة محردة الشاب الجميل إيلي سيمون نجار (تقلا) حيث صُلي على جثمانه الطاهر في كاتدرائية القديس جاورجيوس ليواري الثرى في مقبرة البلدة.

لذكراه الخلود ولروحه الرحمة والسلام مع الأبرار والقديسين.. والعزاء الحار لعائلته وأصدقائه ومحبيه.

⚠️ Perpetrators: Masked assailants affiliated with the de facto authority, driving a stolen Kia Rio with license plates stolen from a transport bus

Incident Summary:

The young man, Elie Simon Takla, was deliberately shot by masked assailants who had been lying in wait for the vehicle he was in. They waited until his father exited the car and turned to open the back door and retrieve a bag before opening fire on Elie as he entered the building, resulting in his martyrdom. The perpetrators then fled the scene.

⚠️ The evidence indicates that this was not a random robbery attempt, but a deliberate targeted attack against him. The motive traces back to ongoing threats received by the son of the jeweler since an incident two years ago, when he faced an attempted fraud/assault inside the jeweler’s shop by two individuals. The two were later arrested by the police and sentenced to prison (it is said—but not confirmed—that one of them died in prison). Since then, the jeweler’s son has received continuous death threats from actors associated with the de facto authority.

• The car used by the assailants was stolen, and the license plates were also stolen from a transport bus.
• 🏴‍☠️ Syria has thus become a hub for gangs and terrorism, where acts of violence and threats against unarmed civilians on a sectarian basis are increasingly systematic and organized.

A solidarity vigil was held at the Holy Cross Church in Damascus for the family of the martyr Elie Simon Takla . Participants voiced their rejection of a culture of crime and gangs, as well as the spread of weapons, and demanded their right to a dignified life.

• 🕊️ In a solemn procession, the city of Mahardah bid farewell to the beautiful young man Elie Simon Najjar (Takla), where prayers were held over his pure body at St. George Cathedral before he was laid to rest in the town cemetery.

May his memory be eternal, and may his soul rest in mercy and peace with the righteous and the saints. Deep condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones.

دخل شاب قاصر إلى الكنيسة يحمل قرآنًا واقترب من الهيكل أمام الإيقونسطاس، وبدأ بتلاوة بعض الآيات القرآنية. توجه إليه وكلاء الكنيسة وعدد من المصلين وطلبوا منه مغادرة المكان، فاستجاب لهم قائلاً “السلام عليكم”، وتم تسليمه لاحقًا دون وقوع أي حادث أمني.

يرتبط هذا الحدث بما حصل يوم الجمعة 23 كانون الثاني 2026، عندما رفع عدد من الشباب المسيحيين في الكنيسة يافطات تعبر عن مخاوفهم من الاعتداءات المستمرة على المكون المسيحي وحقهم في الحياة والأمان. تأتي هذه الرسائل بعد سلسلة انتهاكات ومجازر تعرض لها المكون المسيحي في سوريا منذ استلام سلطة الأمر الواقع زمام الحكم، وتؤكد استمرار محاولات القمع بأي شكل من الأشكال لمنع التعبير عن الرأي وحقوق المدنيين.

A minor entered the church carrying a Qur’an and approached the altar in front of the iconostasis, beginning to recite some verses. Church officials and a number of worshippers approached him and asked him to leave, as the mass had already begun. He complied, saying “Peace be upon you,” and was later handed over without any security incident occurring.

This incident is related to events on Friday, 23 January 2026, when a group of young Christians in the church displayed banners expressing their concerns about the ongoing attacks against the Christian community and their right to life and safety. These messages come after a series of violations and massacres targeting the Christian population in Syria since the de facto authorities assumed control, highlighting the continued attempts at suppression in all forms to prevent freedom of expression and the protection of civilian rights.

🔴 توثيق تظاهرات السويداء | نكون أو لا نكون
شهدت ساحة الكرامة في #السويداء، يوم السبت 31/1/2026، مظاهرات حاشدة للمطالبة بحق تقرير المصير والانفصال عن الحكومة الإرهابية، بعد دعوة أطلقت تحت شعار "نكون أو لا نكون"، وشارك فيها آلاف المتظاهرين من جميع مكوّنات أهل الجبل.
جاءت هذه المظاهرة لتؤكد ثبات موقف الجبل في ظل التطورات الأخيرة

أهم الرسائل والمطالب في المظاهرة:
● القرار بيد أهل الجبل أنفسهم، ولا يحق لأحد الحديث باسمهم سوى القيادة التي اختارها المجتمع.
● مطلبنا بتقرير مصيرنا هو مطلب وجودي.
● استعادة القرى المحتلة من قبل سلطة الأمر الواقع.
● إطلاق سراح المختطفين قسراً الموجودين في سجون سلطة الأمر الواقع.
● جريمة الإبادة ضد مكونات أهل الجبل ليست صفحة يمكن طيّها بسهولة، وستؤدي إلى إعادة تموضع تاريخي لأهل الجبل في محيطهم.

💼الأساس القانوني لحق تقرير المصير:
ينص القانون الدولي، وخصوصاً المادة 1 من العهد الدولي للحقوق المدنية والسياسية والعهد الدولي للحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية (1966)، على أن جميع الشعوب لها الحق في تقرير مصيرها واختيار وضعها السياسي وتنميتها الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية بحرية.

On Saturday, 31 January 2026, Al-Karama Square in #Suwayda witnessed large-scale demonstrations demanding the right to self-determination and separation from the terrorist government, following a call launched under the slogan “To Be or Not to Be.”
Thousands of protesters from all components of the Mountain’s population participated, reaffirming the steadfast position of the Mountain amid recent developments.

Key Messages and Demands of the Demonstration:
• Decision-making belongs solely to the people of the Mountain; no one has the right to speak on their behalf except the leadership chosen by the community.
• The demand for self-determination is an existential demand.
• Liberation of villages occupied by the de facto authorities.
• Release of forcibly disappeared persons held in the prisons of the de facto authorities.
• The crime of genocide committed against the Mountain’s communities is not a page that can be easily turned; it will lead to a historic realignment of the Mountain’s position within its surrounding region.

💼Legal Basis for the Right to Self-Determination:
International law, particularly Article 1 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (1966), stipulates that all peoples have the right to self-determination and may freely determine their political status and pursue their economic, social, and cultural development.
