Ukrainian-Russian war. Day 1430-1431:
Situation on northeastern front: Over the last four weeks, the front line in Dvorichna and Melovsky has remained largely unchanged, despite ongoing positional battles between Russian and Ukrainian armies. However, it is worth noting that Russian forces have begun operations on the outskirts of Chuhunivka after taking the border post and the forest area adjacent to the border.
Meanwhile, east of Kupiansk, fighting continues for Pishchane, which is practically surrounded, while Russian troops continue to assault the trenches south of the locality and expand their operations in the forest along the road to Petropavlivka.

Situation on Aleppo [23-24/1/2026]:
In Kobani, YPG soldiers besieged in Aqtan prison arrived and were welcomed by the besieged population. The snowstorm has worsened humanitarian conditions in the city, and shortages of goods are increasing and affecting citizens as a result of the siege by the STG, which is intermittently bombing surrounding towns.

Situation on Hasakah [23-24/1/2026]:
Meanwhile, in Hasakah, the STG continues to send reinforcements to the outskirts of the provincial capital and to the border in preparation for a future assault on the predominantly Kurdish populations in northeastern Syria.
