The STG began to deploy on the east bank of the Euphrates after tribal forces managed to expel the SDF from a long strip stretching from Hawayij Bu Musah to Baghuz at-Tahtani on the border with Iraq. Thus, the first oil fields (Kishma, Marad, South Omar, Tabiye) are being secured by the militants. Meanwhile, tribal uprisings continue to spread further, reaching the governorates of Hasakah (the towns around Markadah and Shaddadi) and the eastern end of the Raqqa governorate (Jazrat al-Buhamid and Jazrat al-Milaj). SDF is dealing with Hasakah tribal forces while continued the withdrawal from Deir Ezzor governorate.

With this agreement, the Syrian government will regain control of the economic resources necessary for the reconstruction of the country and its presence in the rest of the country's territories. The SDF held back the STG offensive towards the Tishrin dam for several hours with direct support from Turkish special forces, who were able to advance several kilometres along the front, taking control of Yusuf Al-Basha, Al-Hajj Hussein and Khirbat Tuwayni, as well as Jabal ash-Shash from the south. Following the announcement of the agreement, the SDF began evacuating the Tishrin Dam, heading for Kobani and Raqqa.

In northern Raqqa, the SNA began advancing south of Tel Abyad, taking positions previously abandoned by the SDF, and reached the agricultural area and the water canal. The town of Ayn Issa remains under SDF control despite continuous assault and bombardment by the SNA.
In the rest of the governorate, the SDF has withdrawn to Hasakah or continues to withdraw, and fighting continues in Raqqa. Following the uprising of tribal groups, the governorate capital was taken pending the arrival of the STG, which happened later. However, pockets of SDF resistance continue to skirmish with the militants while receiving support from Division 17 Army Base and other military outposts north of Raqqa. The reasons for this resistance are to buy time for a complete withdrawal and to avoid what happened in Maskanah and Deir Hafer the previous day.
