What wallet is this?

Hi All,
I have had my Stellar for many years and rarely do any maintenance on the wallet. I have transacted from it recently and it still sends at lightning speed but I am worried thast I might be back level with my wallet software.
I want to upgrade it but nowhere does it tell me what wallet it is! Just a version of 3.3.
Can anybody tell me what wallet the attached pic is and more importantly, what wallet I should be using and the latest version?
Greatly appreciate the help.

Name that wallet ! (https://imgur.com/a/6ZesTML)
Kind regards

Simon

Stellar biggest value is for anchors only?
http://stellarcommunity.org/t/stellar-biggest-value-is-for-anchors-only/4089

@cadayton (http://stellarcommunity.org/u/cadayton) wrote:

I'm left wondering normal everyday people would want to use Stellar. It seems like the biggest value is for anchors (banks etc...). Perhaps, I'm just starting at the wrong starting point. I'm finding abundant information for developers but almost zero information why a non-developer would want to use XLM. I see claims about P2P and etc... but I'm still on the fence about going deeper.

I just fell for a scam mail and got my lumens stolen by using ~removed~. The email appered to be legit but it was a scam. Seconds after i entered my secrect key my lumens was transfered to another wallet. I am a real noob when it comes to Stellar so did not now exactly how things works and that someone can do anything with my wallet once the have my secrect key. Now i know...

For me there were only 250 XLM in my wallet but I can se that the scam has been successful because they go like 100 000 XLM transfered to this wallet the last hour. Here is the wallet https://stellar.expert/explorer/public/account/GBTMAMFJYFWY2JWBEK2S5R5BHHARXFJGPC77OSNQJYHLGR6GQMOSV3O7?order=desc

The mail looked like this

I have reported abuse to mailgun where the mail originated from. Reporterd the url to google as a phising site and reported the email as a scam.

Is there anything more that i should/could? Report theft to the Police?

Hi there!

Found my old Stellar account, but I'm unable to sign in. When I try to use the recovery code, the error is just "server error". Any ideas on how I can recover and upgrade the old account?

XLM shows 0 in Ledger but public address is correct

Installed Stellar on Ledger. Everything latest updates. Using https://www.stellar.org/account-viewer/#!/ and clicking on Ledger defaults to a new public address that wants one Stellar. But that isn't my old public address with my funds in it. Adding an account in Ledger Live is same issue. Zero balance.

How do I get https://www.stellar.org/account-viewer/#!/ to "log in" to my public address with the funds in it?

Watch out for xlmline.com scam
http://stellarcommunity.org/t/watch-out-for-xlmline-com-scam/4236

@greendane (http://stellarcommunity.org/u/greendane) wrote:

I received a very small deposit of XLM today in one of my stellar accounts, and the memo of the transaction read "Airdrop invite xlmline.com". Visited xlmline.com and it legitimately looked like a stellar airdrop announcement. I almost fell for it until it asked for my private key. A quick google search did not return anything about a recent Stellar airdrop either. Anybody else seen a scam like this before? I can see how easy it would be for a noob to fall for something like this.

Stellar account viewer

Hi,
A while ago I sent XLM from Binance to my Stellar viewer Ledger account, all details are still on Binance. Recently I went on to my account via Stellar viewer to Nano and the balance was 0 and also told I needed to activate my account. I have the addresses and TXID for the passed transactions(4 in total) split between two addresses. When checking with Stellar Expert all the balances are correct in these addresses but do not show in my Nano balance. Could anybody advise me how to get access to my XLM or where I can go to get this sorted. Very much appreciated.

Have you also fell for the Stellar phishing scam? Join us on a Class Action Lawsuit against Ledger SAS and the Stellar Foundation

Hello,

As many of you I have also fell for the Stellar phishing scam. I lost all my funds, a lot of money, couldn't even breathe after I acknowledge the fraud, so stupid for falling for this after many years of working with cryptos (was holding BTC since 2013...).

The point is that you shouldn't feel sorry about it or feel bad with yourself, both LEDGER SAS and the Stellar Foundation and fully liable for a data breach lawsuit. There is literally no other way the scammers might have get our emails.

On the last month I´ve been working hard along with several lawyers in the UK, US and France to take action on this case and litigate against this 2 companies. We are preparing a class action lawsuit in the US against The Stellar Foundation and in France against Ledger SAS for data breach, distress and financial loss.

Regarding the funds recovery, we are taking different approaches: we are actively working with the cybercrime police of Armenia (the phishing website was hosted in Armenia www.stellar.org.am (http://www.stellar.org.am/)), although their IP was hosted in servers from Russia, Lithuania and Malaysia, it will definitely take some time, but we are getting closer to the thieves.

The more of us that join the case, the more chances we will have to recover the Lumens or settle a compensation with Ledger and the Stellar Foundation. If you want to join please PM me.

Best Wallet & Wallets vs Exchanges

Hello to all, newbie here. Stellar lists 19 different wallets. Which is the best one for safety and accuracy? Also, what is the difference between a wallet provider and an exchange? I can buy, sell, and store lumen on Lobstr. Why do I need and exchange like Gemini? Do exchanges have wallets as well? As you can tell I'm confused. Thanks for your help.
