We are on the threshold of the new year 2025. It's time to take stock of 2024, another year of challenges and achievements.

Achievements of 2024

💶 Financial support
We have significantly increased our support for anti-authoritarian fighters compared to 2023:

€225,000+ spent on requests from fighters
82,000+ euros raised through targeted collections

🚗 Key requests’ coverage
Thanks to your contributions and our joint work, we managed to send to the frontline:

10 electronic warfare systems
12 detectors for protection against FPV drones
5 vehicles
2 vacuum wound therapy devices
Mavic drones, charging stations, night vision devices, specialised equipment, etc.

⚙️ The work of the FPV workshop
Our FPV drone workshop has become an important element of our activities this year:
Delivered 113 FPV drones to the military
Expanded international networking by cooperating with workshops in the Czech Republic and other initiatives (Solidrones and Resistance Support Club)

🤝 Humanitarian aid
Our humanitarian department was active in the frontline and affected regions of Eastern Ukraine:
Provided communities and hospitals in Donetsk, Kharkiv and Sumy oblasts with household appliances, food parcels, specialised items, medicine and pet food.

Heavy losses
Unfortunately, 2024 took from us comrades who gave their lives in the struggle against Russian imperialism:

Vladyslav ‘Pirat’ Yurchenko, Ruslan ‘Srypal’ Tereshchenko, Roman ‘Isus’ Legara, Yuriy ‘Tovarysh’ Lebedev.

We express our deepest condolences to their families, friends and loved ones. Their contribution will always be remembered.

Regarding 2025
We do not know how events will unfold in 2025. But there is no doubt that our work will continue. We will continue to support our comrades in the army, help the affected civilians, participate in the reconstruction and do our best to live in a free country where the ideas and practices of mutual aid, and social justice together with direct political action would shape the social life we envision.

🇺🇦 Україна — далеко не єдине місце у світі, де люди ведуть збройну боротьбу проти імперіалістичних зазіхань авторитарних режимів. Вже багато десятиліть курди — найбільший у світі народ без власної держави, — борються з усіма, хто намагається їх знищити. Перебуваючи під постійним тиском режимів Асада, Ердогана чи ісламістів з ІДІЛ, вони все ж намагаються будувати власний егалітарний проект — Рожаву.

Взаємозв’язки між Рожавою й Україною куди сильніші, ніж це може здаватися. Чимало бійців і бійчинь-інтернаціоналістів, які воювали у складі Сирійських демократичних сил (військове формування Автономної адміністрації Північно-Східної Сирії, куди, окрім курдів, також входять інші національні групи регіону), з початком повномасштабного вторгнення прибули в Україну допомагати боротися з Росією. Частина з них і досі тут, детальніше розповісти про них ми не можемо з міркувань безпеки. Але можемо вшанувати пам’ять ірландця Фінбара «Чіа» Кафферкі, який загинув під час битви за Бахмут, і Марсі з Великої Британії, полеглого під Авдіївкою — обоє колишні бійці СДС.

Водночас з падінням Асада й початком нового наступу Туреччини на контрольовану курдами територію Сирії, антиавторитарії знову б’ються за Рожаву. І навіть попри складну ситуацію вони встигли передати нам привіт! Зі свого боку, ми солідаризуємося з антиавторитаріями Рожави і плануємо більш активно висвітлювати їхню боротьбу!

🇬🇧 Ukraine is not the only place in the world where people are waging an armed struggle against the imperialist encroachments of authoritarian regimes. For many decades, the Kurds — the world's largest stateless ethnic group — have been fighting anyone who tries to destroy them. Under constant pressure from the regimes of Assad, Erdogan or Islamists from ISIS, they are nevertheless trying to build their egalitarian project — Rojava.

The relationship between Rojava and Ukraine is much stronger than it seems. Many fighters and internationalist fighters, who fought as part of the Syrian Democratic Forces (a military formation of the Autonomous Administration of Northeastern Syria, including other ethnic groups in the region), arrived in Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion to help fight Russia. Some are still here, but we cannot tell you more about them for security reasons. But we can honour the memory of the Irishman Finbar "Chia" Cafferkey — who was killed in Ukraine in the battle for Bakhmut, and Marcy from Great Britain, who perished fighting for Avdiivka — both former SDF fighters.

At the same time, with the fall of Assad and the beginning of a new Turkish offensive on the Kurdish-controlled territory of Syria, anti-authoritarians are again fighting for Rojava.

And even despite the difficult situation, they managed to send us their greetings! On our end, we stand in solidarity with the anti-authoritarians of Rojava and plan to cover their struggle more thoroughly!

«Ми — підрозділ безпілотних систем, що сьогодні стоїть на обороні Куп’янська та Сватівського напрямку. Наш активістський шлях почався ще задовго до війни: майдан, екоакції, сквотування для перших біженців з Луганщини та Донеччини у 2015 році, соціальний антиавторитарний центр, фрімаркети, самба-бенд та багато іншого, що зараз, звісно, схоже на паралельну реальність. Адже на тлі війни це здається дитячими пустощами, однак, саме ці події поступово вели нас до рішення боронити країну від імперців.
Зараз ми робимо багато того, що ламає логістику окупантів за десятки кілометрів у тилу ворога, але деталі засекречені. Вибачайте».

Ми дуже сумуємо за нашим красенем Сичом, на жаль, його збив ракетою ворожий ППО. Та варто відзначити, що він своє відпрацював у величезний плюс.

"We are a unit of unmanned systems currently defending Kupyansk and Svatove. Our activist journey began long before the war: Maidan, eco protest actions, squatting for the first refugees from Luhansk and Donetsk regions in 2015, a social anti-authoritarian center, freemarkets (RRFM), Rhythms of Resistance group and much more, which now, of course, seems to be a parallel reality. Against the background of the war, it all seems like a childish prank, but it was these events that gradually led us to the decision to defend the country against the imperialists.
Now we are doing a lot of things that are breaking the logistics of the occupiers tens of kilometers behind enemy lines, but the details are classified. Sorry about that."

💪 Reliability: SICH was developed by the Ukrainian defense industry and is designed to meet the real challenges of war.It is able to withstand the Russian electronic warfare as well as our own (yes, it does happen).

Its predecessor was destroyed in the fields of the occupied Luhansk region. Before that it had been carrying out various and veeery important combat missions for a year, effectively destroying Russian equipment and constantly returning from difficult missions, so we quietly called it a lucky one.We miss our beautiful Sich very much. Unfortunately, it was shot down by an enemy anti-aircraft missile. However, it should be noted that it did a great job and was worth the money.

We are confident that the next Sich will be no less effective and we are in need of your support. Let's keep working!

🇬🇧 We Delivered the Vehicle to Bez!

We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to raising funds for a vehicle for our comrade Bez! Thanks to your support, we managed to purchase a Mitsubishi L200, which is already actively assisting the group in Donbas, navigating through challenging dirt roads. This vehicle saves lives and helps our fighters accomplish critically important missions! 💪

Bez writes:

“I express my gratitude to the Solidarity Collectives, ABC Dresden, the Afed group, and everyone who helped fulfill this request for an L200 to carry out combat tasks. Thanks to this vehicle, the long whiskers of one of the Territorial Defense battalions can now independently reach their positions through the winter mud. During the winter season, this is an extremely important asset that allows us to avoid depending on other units’ rotation schedules and efficiently handle our own tasks.”

🇺🇦 Інтерв’ю Takku з анархістами в Україні

Минулого року ми дали три інтерв'ю фінському сайту Takku й нещодавно ці інтерв'ю були опубліковані. Ми запрошуємо вас ознайомитися з ними. Два з них — із учасниками Колективів Солідарності, Сергієм і Ксюшею, а третє — з одним із бійців, яких ми підтримували, Олексієм Макаровим.

Ксюша розповість про свій активістський досвід, як вона долучилася до Колективів Солідарності, і як ми організовуємося як колектив. А також трохи про бекграунд антиавторитарного руху в Україні, зокрема про тактичну підготовку та відносини з армією.

Від Сергія ви дізнаєтеся про самоорганізацію анархістів в Україні під час війни та їхній погляд на виклики, які стоять перед ширшим рухом. Він розповідає про шлях антиавтортаріїв у армії від спроби створити один великий підрозділ, до відносно невеликих груп на фронті, які існують сьогодні, а також про їх критичну важливість для майбутнього антифашизму в післявоєнній Україні. Окрім того, Сергій закликає розпочати широку дискусію серед антиавторитаріїв про безпекові виклики часу, в якій відповідь “війна — це погано” явно не буде достатньою.

🇬🇧 Interviews for Takku with anarchists in Ukraine

Last year, we gave three interviews to the Finnish website Takku, and these interviews have recently been published. We invite you to read them. Two of them are with members of Solidarity Collectives, Sergey and Ksusha, and the third is with one of the fighters we supported, Alexei Makarov.

Ksusha shares her activist experience, explains how she joined Solidarity Collectives and opens up about how we organise as a collective. She also provides some background on the anti-authoritarian movement in Ukraine concerning tactical-defence practices and relations with the military.

From Seregey, you will learn about the self-organization of anarchists in Ukraine during the war and their view of the challenges facing the broader movement. He talks about the path of anti-authoritarians in the army from an attempt to create one large unit to the relatively small groups at the front that exist today, and their critical importance for the future of anti-fascism in postwar Ukraine. In addition, Sergey calls for a broader discussion among anti-authoritarians about the security challenges of our time, in which the answer “war is bad” will clearly not be sufficient.

In the interview with Aleksey, you will read about the need to organise in Ukraine and Europe to address the struggle against Russian imperialism, as well as the importance of criticism and self-criticism in this process. You will also learn about Liosha's many years of experience as a fighter and revolutionary in Russia and Ukraine.

🇺🇦 Булер’ян для профспілкових бійців

Наша співпраця з українськими профспілками триває. Щомісяця ми отримуємо від них запити на допомогу бійцям, які є членами незалежних профспілок, їхнім родинам або вимушеним переселенцям, якими опікуються профспілкові активісти.

У грудні 2024 року до нас звернувся лідер профспілки залізничників Кривого Рогу. Член його профспілки, Денис, до повномасштабного вторгнення працював провідником пасажирського вагону, а у 2022 році добровільно приєднався до лав Збройних Сил України.

Пункт постійної дислокації Дениса та його побратимів потребував автономного опалення. Тож ми придбали для них пічку-булер’ян, здатну обігріти приміщення площею до 500 м². Зараз бійці мають тепло, а ми можемо поділитися фотографіями з їхніми вдячними посмішками.


🇬🇧 Bullerjan stove for trade unionists in the military

Our cooperation with Ukrainian trade unions continues. Every month, we receive requests from them to help fighters who are members of independent trade unions, their families, or internally displaced people whom trade union activists take care of.

In December 2024, we were approached by the leader of a railway workers’ union in Kryvyi Rih. A member of his union, Denys, worked as a passenger carriage conductor, and in 2022 he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Denys and his fellow soldiers’ permanent deployment point needed autonomous heating. So we purchased a Bullerjan stove capable of heating a space of up to 500 m². Now the fighters have warmth, and we can share photos of their grateful smiles.
