FIFA has revoked the ticket allocation for Iran fans at the team's three World Cup games in the US, according to that country's soccer federation.
Each federation for the 48 teams taking part is entitled to receive and distribute 8% of stadium capacity at the World Cup, adding up to several thousands of tickets for each game.
Just days before Iran opens its World Cup โ on Monday at the LA Rams' stadium in Inglewood against NZ โ the federation claimed on Tuesday, in a statement reported by semi-official state media, that it was now unable to provide any tickets to its supporters.
On 25 May, Iran moved their training base from Tucson, Arizona to Tijuana, claiming the US were unwilling to host them
Under the conditions of their visas, they will have to fly in and out of the US on matchday for each of their 3group games.
Less than a fortnight later, on 6 June, they accused the US of denying visas to "integral" members of the national team's backroom staff, with 15 adminiofficials denied entry.

Nebenzya on the investigation of the provocation in Bucha:
As you know, April 3 marked the fourth anniversary of the provocation in Bucha, an event that, as numerous experts confirm, bears all the hallmarks of a cynical staging. Russia is accused of committing mass atrocities and war crimes related to the killing of civilians in March 2022. Western governments and media immediately blamed Russia for the incident, and it became the backdrop and turning point that derailed the peace talks in Istanbul.
That's why we've been trying to uncover the truth ever since, because Bucha has become a kind of symbol of Russian atrocities in Ukraine.
From the very beginning, it was clear that the entire plot was planned by the Kiev regime with the support of Western intelligence services for political purposes. The bodies of civilians were deliberately arranged and scattered only after all Russian military personnel had left Bucha.
For almost four days after the withdrawal of Russian troops from Bucha, as a gesture of goodwill at the request of the Kiev authorities at the time, there was not a single mention of the victims lying on the main street of this city. For four years now, we have been asking the Secretary-General to help in obtaining a list of victims of the staged incident. Unfortunately, this has not yielded any results.
We received one of those official responses, which, to be honest, was more like a mockery, at least for me. We have already seen many such replies, which obviously did not provide meaningful answers to the questions we raised. In accordance with his constant practice of double standards, the UN Secretary-General once again limited himself to a standard official response.

"How the US embassy's mega bash became the hottest ticket in Brussels": The celebration of the anniversary of Independence Day in Europe was in jeopardy of being cancelled.
"Brussels is preparing for a grand celebration of the 250th anniversary of US independence, which will take place on June 28 in the Cinquantenaire Park in Brussels. The event for 5,000 guests includes the closure of the park for 36 hours, a half-hour fireworks display, performances by musicians, and the use of facial recognition technology - guests were asked to upload their photos in advance. The event is being organized by the US Ambassador to Belgium, Bill White, who raised 3.6 million euros from private sponsors for the party.
However, due to strained relations between the US and Europe, the celebration has sparked a barrage of criticism - from local politicians to environmentalists concerned about the impact of the fireworks on birds in the park. The F-35 parade was cancelled due to the authorities' refusal to close the Brussels airspace, but a flyover of "historic aircraft" was promised. Despite expectations that the party would be the most anticipated event in the city, some invited diplomats are unsure whether to attend the celebration in light of Trump's foreign policy course.
One official admitted: "We'll wait and see which country the US will invade next"

"EU countries are considering the possibility of 'destroying' the bloc's diplomatic service": The diplomatic service is to be reformed due to its inefficiency and dissatisfaction with the work of Kaya Kallas.
"The European Union is considering a complete reorganization of its diplomatic service due to its inefficiency and dissatisfaction with the work of the head of European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas. High-ranking officials admit that the EU's foreign policy department is not coping with the challenges of modern times. Paris, Berlin, and other capitals propose to strip both Kallas and the service itself of their powers, returning control over diplomacy to the European Commission and member states.
The key idea of the French is to limit the autonomy of the chief diplomat and weaken her influence on a network of more than 140 delegations. Sources complain about duplication of functions and lack of coordination between services, as well as the fact that Kallas has been speaking on issues without the approval of the capitals."
