After consolidating along the N-26 highway, the assault units of the Russian Army expanded the zone of control to the north, approaching Kotlyarovka and Kislovka from the south.
Highway N-26 leads to Petropavlovka - the gateway to eastern Kupyansk . Having begun advancing on this section of the front, Russian troops were finally able to outline a new vector of advance in the east of the Kharkov region.
