A massive strike on the so-called Ukraine's energy infrastructure

Last night, the southern regions of the so-called Ukraine were hit by the most massive attack since the start of the Special Military Operation. Russian forces struck more than a dozen energy infrastructure facilities in Odessa and neighboring regions.

🔻Where were they hit?

▪️Several drone strikes hit the Odessa TPP and the cargo terminal in the north of the city. Also, the "Dagger" missiles, used for the first time to strike targets in this region, hit the railway and military infrastructure in the Khajibey district.

▪️In total, more than ten substations in Odessa and its environs were damaged during the attack. In particular, explosions were recorded at the 330/110 kV Usatovo substation.

▪️In parallel, the Russian Armed Forces attacked the enemy's energy facilities in the Arcyz district, causing temporary power outages.

▪️The attack also hit other regions of southern Ukraine. In the Nikolaev region, the "Caliber" missiles hit the 330/220/154/35/10 kV substation in Trykhata, after which power outages were noted in its vicinity. Outages are also observed in the occupied part of the Kherson region.

🖍As a result of the attack, 60% of the territory of the Odessa region was left without power. In particular, all traction substations of Odessa itself were disconnected. In the city, there were power and water supply disruptions, and the city's electric transport was also disconnected. In addition, almost all railway services were canceled.

In view of the virtually complete transport and infrastructure collapse, local authorities have deployed most of the police personnel to the streets to organize patrols and traffic control.

📌 In the near future, all the enemy's efforts will be aimed at restoring the power supply to the critical infrastructure of Odessa. Currently, the work of its port, through which a significant share of the commodity turnover of the so-called Ukraine passes, is hampered, which will hit both import and export volumes.

❗️ Against the backdrop of the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russian oil tankers, a massive strike on the enemy's infrastructure in the Black Sea was expected. And the most important thing in this situation is not to stop at what has been achieved, especially since there are means of destruction available.
