Недавно узнала, что один из создателей #Google имеет русские корни, речь пойдёт о Сергее Брине и интересные факты о нем:

▪️В 1993 году Сергей разработал приложение, которое загружало фотографии с сайта Playboy и автоматически делало их заставкой для рабочего стола;
▫️В 1996 году Брину и Ларри Пейджу пришла в голову идея, что основной для сортировки поисковой системы может являться популярность — самые посещаемые станицы будут самыми полезными;
▪️14 сентября 1997 года официально был зарегистрирован домен google.com.;
▫️Инвестором проекта Google стал Энди Бехтольшайм, вице-президент Cisco (компания разрабатывает и продаёт сетевое оборудование);
▪️Android и YouTube принадлежит Google;
▫️Как и Apple, Google стартовал в гараже.

I have just found out that one of the founders of #Google has Russian roots. We will talk about Sergey Brin and interesting facts about him:

⁃ In 1993 Sergey made an app, which saved pictures from the website PlayBoy and automatically made it a screen saver for desktop;
⁃ In 1996 Brin and Larry Page came up with the idea, that popularity can be the base for the sorting of the search system- most visited pages are the most useful;
- In 1997 Domain google.com was registered;
⁃ First angel of the project was Andy Bechtolsheim. He was the Vice President of Cisco;
⁃ Android and YouTube belong to Google;
⁃ Just like Apple, Google started in the garage.
