El primer tango del que se tiene registro es "cara" sucia compuesta por el negro Casimiro Alcorta, en los años 1940s se reescribió la letra del tango porque era muy obscena, en vez de decir cara sucia decía concha sucia, el cantante le cantaba a su novia por ser una sucia que a la hora de coger no se lavaba ni la concha, no hay registro fonográfico del tango cantado con su letra original en la época, probablemente destruido y reemplazado con la nueva letra.
