SPHMMC Cardiology Division Hosts Successful Pacemaker Implantation and Electrophysiology Mission
The Cardiology Division at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) recently hosted a successful two-day Pacemaker Implantation and Electrophysiology study mission, achieving remarkable results. The event, organized by Dr. Frank Halimi, a renowned rhythmologist from France, and supported by Dr. Louisa O’Neill from Dublin, Ireland, brought together international and local healthcare professionals to provide life-saving procedures.
During the mission, the medical team performed a total of 12 critical procedures, which included:
6 Electrophysiology studies and SVT Ablations
6 Pacemaker Implantations
This successful mission is part of Dr. Halimi’s ongoing efforts to enhance cardiac care in Ethiopia. Having organized similar missions in the past, Dr. Halimi's dedication continues to significantly impact both patients and local healthcare providers.

Today, St. Paul’s College held a staff meeting with community representatives to discuss improvements in the college's activities and services. The primary goal of the meeting was to gather feedback on the services provided by the college and identify areas for enhancement.
Dr. Weletaw Chane, Vice Provost, presented the six-month performance report, highlighting the college's progress. Based on the report, the community representatives shared valuable suggestions aimed at improving both services and educational programs offered by the institution.
Finally, Dr. Sisay Sirgu, the Provost of the college, expressed gratitude to the community members for their insightful comments and feedback, emphasizing their importance in the college’s continued development.

- ልጆች በንግግር ወይም በመናገር ክህሎታቸው በእድሜ እኩያቸው ካሉ ሕጻናት በሚጠበቅ ደረጃ ካልሆነ፡፡
- ልጆች የቲቪ ድምጽን ከፍ የሚያደርጉ ከሆነ ወይም በስልክ ምን እየተባለ እንደሆነ በተደጋጋሚ የሚጠይቁ ከሆነ፡፡
- ልጆች በትምህርት ቤት ጥሩ አፈጻጻም እያሳዩ ካልሆነ ወይም የብህሪ ችግር ችግሮች ከታዩባቸው
- ህጻኑ የጆሮ በሽታን የሚያመለክቱ ማናቸውንም ጥቁምታዎች ካሉት፡፡( ለምሳሌ ከጆሮው ፍሳሽየሚወጣ ከሆነ፡ የሕመም በተለይ የመደፈን ስሜት ከታየ፡ ከጆሮ ሐመም ጋር ትኩሳት የሚታይ ከሆነ)
- ልጆች የሚናገሩትን ንግግር እንዲደግምላቸው የሚጠይቁ ከሆነ
- ልጆች በንግግር ወይም በመናገር ክህሎታቸው በእድሜ እኩያቸው ካሉ ሕጻናት በሚጠበቅ ደረጃ ካልሆነ፡፡
