The department of pediatrics and child health kindly invites all qualifying candidate to apply for Neonatology fellowship program for the year 2024 /25 G.C.
TWO fellowship positions are available for this academic year and the final date for application is September 9, 2024.
Admission requirements
• The candidate must complete the screening process for admission which will be conducted by Saint Paul hospital millennium medical college.
• The candidate should be graduate from a recognized medical school with Doctor of Medicine and specialty in pediatrics and child health.
• The candidate should provide a recent work experience in government institute at least for the past two years.
• The candidate should be able to submit a sponsorship letter from government institute.
• The candidate should be registered and licensed to practice pediatric and child health by the relevant authority in Ethiopia.
• The candidate should have adequate mental and physical health.
All interested applicants can apply to the office of pediatrics and child health department or to the office of registrar from the date of announcement until September 9, 2024.
Applicants should write a letter of intent with no more than 500 words describing why they are interested to join this fellowship program and should avail the following documents as well:
o Application letter
o Recent CV
o Recommendation letter (at least two)
o Copy of credentials (degree and grade report)

Our college undertook tree seedling plantation and cleanout program today aiming at making the college premises green and its buildings quite tidy. It has also been planned that the college workers are going to partake in the national tree plantation program to be held on August 23, 2024 at Entoto Park so as to leave their footprint under the umbrella national initiative of the green legacy.
Call for Adult Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship application
St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College, department of internal medicine is delighted to announce its interest to accept fellows in Adult Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship for the academic year of 2024/2025.
The candidate should fulfill the following requirements
1. The candidate should have a speciality certificate in internal medicine, clinical oncology or hematology from a recognized university
2. The candidate must be a registered internist, clinical oncologist or hemarologist, and licensed by the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia on his/her respective specalty certificate. If the speciality certificate is obtained from abroad, it should be licensed as by the FMOH Ethiopia
3. The candidate must complete and pass the screening process for admission to be undertaken by the department of internal medicine including:
3.1. Document review (750 word sized letter of intent indicating reasons for joining the program, professional career goals, and how the fellowship will help attain those goals; updated CV, two letters of professional recommendations preferably sent directly via emails from the recommending person to the emails listed below (one recommendation from the institute where the candidate is currently working, and one from former mentors during the residency training), support letter of sponsoring institutions
3.2. Entrance examination (both written and interview)
4. Candidates must be from areas/regions assumed to have inadequate adult hemato-oncologic services
5. Applicants must be in acceptable physical and mental health without any serious health conditions that would limit the ability to cope with the requirements of the fellowship training program and service as mentioned on the college legislation
6. Applicants should not have any active criminal records that led to prosecution and should not be in violation of any code of medical ethics as declared by the applicant
