plasma-desktop, 44KLOC C++, 32KLOC QML. 7 minutes on my 12-thread machine.
rustc, 610KLOC Rust, ??? more KLOC of Rust in dependencies, 4m20s (nice) on the same machine,
Non-incremental release build for both.
Even if we assume that ~300 of rustc's dependencies brought in 0 additional code, while QML expanded 10x when converted to C++, this is still approximately twice as long for 2 times less code.

SCP fanfiction or Epstein files?
This was SCP fanfiction. "There Is No Antimemetics Division," to be precise.
It's pretty good. Like "Memento" (the Nolan's one) but on steroids.
I have no idea why pretty much the entirety of this chapter got the Epstein files treatment in the PDF I was reading, when this is where a lot of world-building takes place, and, imo, really crucial pieces of it.
But whatever. I had actually read several pieces of it a few years ago, on the SCP foundation website itself. Namely, two SCP entries related to this. And they were one of my all-time favorites, so I'm glad there turned out to be more similar stuff out there.
For comedic effect, I should make this post again in a few days, as if I don't remember ever writing it.
