💬 Despite a challenging international landscape, Russia’s GDP has been demonstrating an annual growth rate of over four percent over the past two years, which is above the global average.
• Commodities no longer play a defining role in Russia’s economic growth patterns. In 2023, Russia’s non-oil-and-gas GDP increased by 7.2 percent, followed by an additional 4.9 percent in 2024. These are solid figures exceeding the overall GDP growth rates.
• Our strategic vector is precisely to actively and consistently transform the structure of the national economy, step by step. We have achieved a great deal in this area, but it is clear that moving forward is critically important, especially in light of the dramatic changes taking place in the world.
• Annual inflation has already dropped to single-digit levels below ten percent. As of June 16, it stood at 9.6 percent. Of course, that is still high, but inflation targeting continues.
• Over the past four years, employment in Russia has grown by 2.4 million people. Since October last year, the national unemployment rate has stabilised at around 2.3 percent, reaching a historic low.
• In terms of youth unemployment, Russia ranks among the best globally, with a rate of approximately seven and a half percent.
For comparison, youth unemployment stands at around 16 percent in France and 11 percent in the United Kingdom.
• Russia’s economy must become more technologically advanced. We must fully unleash a new phase of the country’s technological development. The key instrument in this regard should be the national projects aimed at securing technological leadership.

◼️ 22 июня в нашей стране отмечается #ДеньПамятиИСкорби. Это самая трагическая дата в современной истории нашего народа.
Именно в этот день — 22 июня 1941 года — на Советский Союз обрушилась вся мощь военной машины нацистской Германии и её европейских сателлитов, вероломно, без объявления войны вторгшихся в СССР. Для нашего народа началась Великая Отечественная война — самая кровопролитная в истории страны, длившаяся 1418 дней и унёсшая около 27 миллионов жизней советских граждан.
Одержимые идеями расового превосходства гитлеровцы и их союзники в Европе планировали стереть с лица Земли целые народы, а уцелевших — превратить в рабов Третьего рейха. Немецкие оккупанты вторглись в нашу страну с одной целью — физически истребить советский народ, уничтожить его многовековое культурное и духовное наследие. Они осуществляли целенаправленный геноцид.

На рассвете 22 июня вражеская авиация нанесла массированные удары по аэродромам, железнодорожным станциям, советским военно-морским базам, местам дислокации войск и городам вдоль всей западной государственной границы СССР и на глубину до 250-300 км. Вместе с нацистской Германией в агрессии приняли участие Румыния, Италия, Финляндия и др. союзные Третьему рейху государства. На агрессоров работала промышленность почти всей континентальной Европы.
О нападении Германии и начале войны жителям нашей страны было объявлено по радио. В полдень 22 июня 1941 года народный комиссар иностранных дел В.М.Молотов по поручению руководства страны выступил с обращением к советским гражданам:
Именно СССР принял на себя главный удар немецко-фашистских захватчиков. Именно советский Народ-Победитель проявил беспримерный героизм и стойкость, сражаясь до последней капли крови за свободу нашей Родины, сокрушил нацизм и спас Европу от коричневой чумы. Именно на Восточном фронте европейского театра боевых действий, в ходе боёв с Красной армией гитлеровцы и их приспешники лишились более 75% своих сил и средств за весь период Второй мировой войны.
🌟 Великая Победа досталась большой ценой. Потери Советского Союза составили до 40% всех людских потерь в годы войны — почти 27 миллионов человек. Из них более 8,7 миллиона погибли на полях сражений, 7,42 миллиона человек были целенаправленно и хладнокровно убиты нацистами. Свыше 5 миллионов — насильно угнаны в рабство в Германию и оккупированные вермахтом европейские страны.
Дата 22 июня до сих пор отзывается скорбью, грустью и болью за искалеченные судьбы миллионов людей. Нет такой семьи в нашей стране и в бывших республиках Советского Союза, которую не затронула бы та страшная война. Нет сроков давности по преступлениям, совершённым нацистами и их подручными на нашей земле. В этот день мы склоняем головы в память о наших предках, погибших в годы войны.

⚡️ Russian Foreign Ministry statement in connection with the US strikes on Iran (June 22, 2025)
❗️ Russia resolutely condemns the United States’ strikes on several nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran, carried out in the early hours of June 22, following recent attacks by Israel.
This reckless decision to launch missile and aerial strikes on the territory of a sovereign state, regardless of the justifications offered, constitutes a blatant violation of international law, the #UNCharter, and relevant resolutions by the UN Security Council, which has consistently and unequivocally deemed such actions unacceptable. Particularly concerning is the fact that the strikes were executed by a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
☢️ The consequences of this action, including potential radioactive effects, have yet to be determined. However, it is already evident that a dangerous escalation is underway, one that threatens to further destabilise security both in the region and globally. This has drastically increased the likelihood of a larger conflict in the #MiddleEast, a region already plagued by numerous crises.
The attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities have dealt a substantial blow to the global non-proliferation regime built around the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (#NPT), which raises particular concerns. They have significantly undermined both the credibility of the NPT and the integrity of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) monitoring and verification mechanisms that underpin it.
We expect the IAEA leadership to respond promptly, professionally, and transparently, avoiding vague language or efforts to hide behind political ‘equidistance.’ An unbiased and objective report from the Director General is required, to be submitted for consideration at the Agency’s upcoming special session.
Obviously, the UN Security Council must take a firm stance as well. Confrontational and destabilising actions taken by the United States and Israel must be collectively rejected.
☝️ We call for an immediate end to aggression and for stepping up efforts to bring the situation back onto a peaceful, diplomatic track.

🌟 23 июня 1944 года началась одна из крупнейших и ключевых операций Красной армии в годы Великой Отечественной войны — «Багратион».
За два месяца наступления советские войска полностью освободили Белорусскую ССР и вышли на государственную границу СССР. От нацистов также были зачищены часть Прибалтики и восточные районы Польши. Примерно за две недели напряжённых боёв первого этапа операции были разгромлены главные силы гитлеровской группы армий «Центр».

К весне-лету 1944 года советские войска практически полностью контролировали инициативу на всех участках восточного фронта — от Чёрного моря до Балтики. Немецко-фашистские захватчики были отброшены от Ленинграда. Началась Выборгско-Петрозаводская операция по освобождению Карелии от финских оккупантов. На южном направлении от нацистов практически полностью были очищены Крым и Правобережная Украина — Красная армия вышла на границу с Румынией.
Летом 1944 года направлением главного удара советских войск стала немецкая группа армий «Центр». Её силами нацисты по-прежнему удерживали территорию Белорусской ССР, где в период оккупации гитлеровцы творили чудовищные бесчинства: сжигали целые населённые пункты, целенаправленно уничтожали мирных жителей и военнопленных.
⚔️ К проведению операции «Багратион» советские войска приступили в третью годовщину нападения фашистской Германии на СССР — 22 июня 1944 года. Наступлению предшествовала разведка боем, а на следующий день — 23 июня — силы Красной армии нанесли молниеносный удар по линии фронта от Полоцка до Мозыря шириной в 700 километров.
Стремительное продвижение советских войск стало для врага настоящим шоком — передовые позиции вермахта были буквально вдавлены в землю. Уже через несколько дней германские дивизии были окружены и уничтожены в районах Витебска, Бобруйска и Могилёва. 3 июля был освобождён Минск, к середине месяца — Вильнюс. К началу августа нацисты были изгнаны почти со всей территории Белоруссии.
Беспрецедентную помощь Красной армии в ходе операции оказали партизаны и подпольщики. Они устраивали засады, громили штабы противника и его отдельные части, выводили из строя коммуникации. Захватывали важные рубежи и удерживали их до подхода основных сил.
В результате операции «Багратион» была наголову разгромлена группа армий «Центр», форсированы крупные водные преграды на восточном фронте — реки Березина, Неман, Висла и, соответственно, обеспечен плацдарм для подготовки дальнейшего наступления в Прибалтике, Восточной Пруссии и Польше. Линия фронта сдвинулась на запад до 550–600 километров. Потери фашистских захватчиков за июнь-август 1944 года, по немецким (!) данным, составили чуть меньше миллиона солдат и офицеров.
🎖 В борьбе за освобождение Белоруссии советские воины всех национальностей проявили массовый героизм и высокое боевое мастерство. Свыше 1,5 тысяч участвовавших в операции «Багратион» солдат и офицеров Красной армии были удостоены звания Героя Советского Союза, сотни тысяч награждены орденами и медалями.

📖 В мемориальном комплексе «Брестская крепость» состоялась презентация книги «Транспортники — Герои Великой Победы».
✍️ Над её созданием трудился большой коллектив во главе с редакционной коллегией, ответственным секретарем которой является заместитель министра транспорта РФ Константин Пашков, авторские коллективы Российского общества историков транспорта, РУТ, Музея современной истории России, а также представители научного сообщества. Авторы постарались сохранить сведения о тех героях, кто получил высшие отличия во время войны и так или иначе был связан со сферой транспорта.
В мероприятии участвовали Министр транспорта Российской Федерации Р.Старовойт и Министр транспорта и коммуникаций Республики Беларусь А.Ляхнович, а также Председатель Брестского городского исполнительного комитета С.Лободинский и Генеральный консул Российской Федерации О.Мурашев.
🚗🚙 К слову, в этот же день в Бресте завершился еще один знаковый патриотический проект российских транспортников - историко-патриотический автопробег «Дорога жизни. Дорога мужества. Дорога Победы», организованного Министерством транспорта Российской Федерации совместно с Росавтодором и ГК «Автодор». Автопробег стартовал 18 июня в Санкт-Петербурге.
🔥 За пять дней его участники преодолели порядка 1710 км и почтили память павших в годы Великой Отечественной войны на восьми мемориалах, расположенных вдоль автотрасс.

🎙 Statement by Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vassily Nebenzia at a UNSC Briefing following US Strikes on Iran (New York, June 22, 2025).
💬 Vassily Nebenzia: Russia vehemently condemns the irresponsible, dangerous, and provocative actions taken by the USA against the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI), which is a sovereign country and a UN member state.
In doing so, Washington has yet again demonstrated its complete disregard for the position of the international community and reasserted that to advance the interests of its Israeli ally, it is prepared not only to turn a blind eye to the killings of tens of thousands of Palestinian women, children, and elderly people, but also to gamble with the safety and well-being of all humanity.
❗️ Through its actions, the US has opened Pandora's box, and no one knows what new consequences this may lead to.
Over the past ten days, we heard already three briefings by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi; he warned that strikes on Iranian nuclear infrastructure are fraught with completely unpredictable repercussions and will jeopardize nuclear safety and security not only in Iran but also in the region and the entire world. However, Washington is completely unconcerned about either the radiological consequences or the threat to the lives and health of a huge number of civilians, including women and children, in the region and beyond.
Much like West Jerusalem, Washington sees itself as the highest judge in the land vested with the right to deliver justice at its sole discretion. Thus, the US reaffirms that in order to preserve its global hegemony, it is ready to commit any crimes and violations of international law.
We have persistently offered our American colleagues our mediation services so as to find a peaceful and mutually agreeable solution to the contradictions surrounding the Iranian nuclear program. But it appears that diplomacy is not what our US colleagues currently need. Responsibility for all this falls squarely on the shoulders of the American leadership.
Let me remind you how, back in 2003, in this very chamber, US Secretary of State Colin Powell was waving around a vial to justify Washington's plans to invade the territory of another sovereign state – this was done only to plunge the people of that country into decades of chaos and find no weapons of mass destruction there.
Today's situation is essentially no different: yet again, we are being asked to believe US’s fairy tales in order to once again inflict suffering on millions of people living in the Middle East. This cements our conviction that our US colleagues have learned nothing from history.
Russian Federation, China, and Pakistan prepared and circulated this morning a concise and balanced UNSC draft resolution calling for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire and for a search for a diplomatic solution to the Iranian nuclear program.

❗️Делегация Российской Федерации выражает глубокую обеспокоенность новым витком военной эскалации на Ближнем Востоке. Российская сторона вынуждена констатировать, что конфликт, и без того обострившийся до предела из-за начавшейся 13 июня силовой акции Государства Израиль против Исламской Республики Иран, получил новое, крайне опасное развитие. Россия решительно осуждает совершенную 22 июня США атаку против объектов ядерной инфраструктуры Ирана.
💥Решение подвергнуть ракетно-бомбовым ударам территорию суверенного государства является безответственным и грубо нарушает международное право, Устав ООН, а также резолюции Совета Безопасности ООН. Особую тревогу вызывает тот факт, что удары осуществила страна, являющаяся постоянным членом СБ ООН, несущая особую ответственность за поддержание международного мира и безопасности.
➡️ Очевидно, что данные ничем неспровоцированные и провокационные нападения на мирные ядерные объекты, находящиеся под контролем МАГАТЭ, нанесли колоссальный ущерб международному режиму нераспространения, базирующемуся на Договоре о нераспространении ядерного оружия (ДНЯО).
🕊Россия призывает США и Государство Израиль отказаться от продолжения их агрессивных действий против Исламской Республики Иран. Без урегулирования глобальных противоречий, восстановления доверия между государствами-членами ООН и странами ядерной «пятерки», устранения первопричин современного кризиса в сфере международной безопасности и стратегической стабильности, мы не можем двигаться вперед в деле построения мира, свободного от ядерного оружия.

Франция, еврейская община которой считается одной из крупнейших в Европе (порядка 500 тыс.), продолжает занимать первые позиции в ЕС по числу антисемитских акций. Причём в большинстве случаев антисемитизм исходит не от ультраправых сил, а от радикализированной мусульманской части населения.
В 2024 году зарегистрировано 1570 антисемитских инцидентов по сравнению с 1676 таких происшествий в 2023 году, что в 4 раза больше, чем в 2022 году.

ФРГ сохраняет двойные стандарты в вопросе о выплатах индивидуальных компенсаций тем, кто пережил блокаду Ленинграда, являющуюся одним из самых страшных актов геноцида нацистской Германии в отношении народов Советского Союза в ходе Великой Отечественной войны.
Берлин под надуманными предлогами ограничивает круг получателей выплат блокадниками-евреями, отказываясь распространить их на остальных выживших в блокаде защитников и жителей города.

В стране сохраняются глубинные и зачастую игнорируемые международными правозащитными механизмами проблемы – проявления расизма, дискриминация национальных меньшинств, замалчивание «наследия» североирландского межобщинного конфликта и др.
В части конкретных проявлений расизма значительное внимание уделено дискриминации лиц африканского происхождения в системе обеспечения правопорядка, правосудия, исполнения наказаний. Три четверти женщин неевропейского происхождения (всего в работе приняли участие около 2 тыс. представительниц этой группы населения наряду с одной тысячей женщин европейского происхождения) сталкиваются с проявлениями расизма на рабочем месте

Данное исследование, как и предыдущий одноимённый доклад, является действенным механизмом синхронизации усилий в правозащитной сфере, предпринимаемых нашими странами, которые связаны многолетними традициями дружбы и взаимопомощи, культурным и духовным родством, общим историческим прошлым и ориентирами на будущее. Большое внимание в документе уделено совместному сохранению исторической правды, что особенно важно в 80-ю годовщину Победы в Великой Отечественной войне и во Второй мировой войне.
Доклад направлен на защиту нашей совместной истории, что отличает его от аналогичных западоцентричных изысканий, которые переполнены нравоучениями и лицемерными рассуждениями об абстрактных критериях, уводя читательскую аудиторию от понимания реального положения дел.
Покрывая проявления героизации нацизма, расизма, ксенофобии и связанной с ними нетерпимости, открытую пропаганду откровенно расистских идей и постулатов, пытаясь наново переписать историю и расколоть общество по этническому, языковому и религиозному признакам, такие государства полностью перечеркнули все свои рассуждения об универсальности прав человека.

8️⃣0️⃣ years ago — on June 24, 1945 — the first Victory Parade took place on Red Square in Moscow to mark the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The Parade served as a symbol of the triumph achieved by the Soviet Union and its people by defeating Hitler’s Germany and saving the world from Nazism.

During the preparations for the Parade 12 regiments were created and trained, representing all the Red Army Fronts that took part in the fighting against the Nazi invaders. Each regiment included over 1,000 distinguished & honoured Red Army soldiers and officers, Heroes of the Soviet Union and cavaliers of the Order of Glory.
The ceremony involved in total 298 infantry platoons, 13 cavalry squadrons, and 350 artillery batteries, including 386 guns and 613 armoured vehicles. Commander of the Moscow Military District, Colonel General Pavel Artemyev, was in charge of organising and overseeing the Parade.
The Victory Parade began at 10 am and lasted for two hours. Soviet Union Marshal Konstantin Rokossovsky commanded the units, while Marshal Georgy Zhukov reviewed the parade teams. The Parade was in many aspects highly symbolic, even as regards the breeds and colours of the horses rode by the two great Soviet Marshals — Zhukov rode a light grey Tersk horse as a symbol of glory and victory, while Rokossovsky rode a black horse symbolising honour and grace.
After the Marshals reviewed the units and greeted the participants, a military orchestra with 1,400 musicians marched into the centre of Red Square to perform “Glory,” a patriotic song composed by Mikhail Glinka. Georgy Zhukov then ascended the podium on the Lenin Mausoleum to deliver his famous address:
When Marshal Zhukov concluded his remarks, the state orchestra performed the national anthem, and 50 rounds of fireworks were fired from the Kremlin walls. This is when the Red Army columns — over 40'000 soldiers and officers and 1,850 units of armour vehicles and military equipment.
❗️At the end of the celebrations, to the sound of 80 drums beating, a column of Soviet soldiers threw 200 banners of the defeated Nazi Wehrmacht onto the ground near the Mausoleum. These banners had been selected by a special commission from among 900 trophy banners brought from Germany.
The Parade ended at noon to the tune of the Moscow Garrison’s composite brass orchestra. Overall, 24 marshals, 249 generals, 2,536 officers, and 31,116 non-commissioned officers and soldiers took part in the procession. The celebrations culminated with an image of the Order of Victory floating in the sky.

For three years, the Red Army had to fight against Germany and its satellites on its own. Throughout the entire war, the Nazi army had to keep its main forces on the Soviet-German front — this is where the Reich's war machine was crushed, and this is where the victorious ending of the war in Europe came from.”
