У нас есть единомышленники – государства, которые разделяют это понимание и выступают за сохранение памяти о роли СССР в разгроме нацистской Германии. Посаженная кавказская пихта – частица нашей любимой Родины.

💐 «Самое малое, что мы можем сделать – не дать стереться памяти о боевом пути Павла и Василия, о подвиге всех советских солдат, воевавших в рядах французских партизан и приближавших общую Победу. Особенно горько было видеть сегодня, что к могилам французских однополчан Зиммерманна и Дорганова, покоящихся рядом с нашими соотечественниками, на 80-летний юбилей Победы пока так никто и не пришёл. Возможно, именно так история и память постепенно ‘выветриваются’ из людских сердец. А мы не имеем морального права этого допустить!»

We have like-minded partners – countries that share this understanding and stand for preserving the memory of the USSR’s role in defeating Nazi Germany.

May it grow strong, reminding us of those terrible 1,418 days and nights of war, of the millions of lives laid down on the altar of Victory, of every family touched by that terrible tragedy, and of the heroic deeds that must never be forgotten.

🇨🇭 То, что кантональные власти Женевы разрешили проведение «Бессмертного полка», – уже хорошая новость. Хотелось бы надеяться, что швейцарцы и впредь будут действовать в таком конструктивном русле, восстанавливая нейтральный статус Конфедерации – как в отношении России, так и на международной арене в целом.

💐 “The least we can do is preserve the memory of the wartime paths of Pavel and Vasily, and the heroism of all Soviet soldiers who fought in the ranks of the French Resistance and brought the shared Victory closer. It was especially heartbreaking to see today that, on the 80th anniversary of Victory, no one had yet come to the graves of the French Resistance fighters, buried right beside Zimmermann and Dorganov. Perhaps this is how history and memory slowly ‘fade away’ from people’s hearts. But we have no moral right to let that happen!”
