2⃣ "Angara-A5" is among the most eco-friendly rockets. It does not use toxic fuel components, unlike its predecessor "Proton-M", which "Angara" is intended to fully replace over time.
3⃣ The main advantage of "Angara-A5" is the possibility for further modernization, such as modifying the fuel used in the third stage, increasing the payload capacity and developing a manned variant.
4⃣ The rocket's reusable block can be employed ten times. It features a central engine that can be reignited up to three times in a single flight. Additionally, the launch vehicle is equipped with four extendable supports designed to ensure a gentle landing.

💬 In the early hours of April 14, a large number of missiles and drones were launched at the territory of Israel.
According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, this attack was undertaken as part of the right to self-defence stipulated in Article 51 of the UN Charter in response to the attacks on Iranian targets in the region, including the strike on the consular section of the Iranian Embassy in Damascus on April 1, which our country strongly denounced.
Unfortunately, due to the position adopted by its Western members, the Security Council was unable to provide a proper response to the strike on the Iranian consular mission.
We express our extreme concern at yet another dangerous escalation in the region. We have repeatedly warned that the numerous unresolved crises in the Middle East, primarily in the area of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which are often fueled by irresponsible provocative actions, will exacerbate tensions.
☝️ We call on all parties involved in the conflict to exercise restraint. We expect the regional states to resolve the existing problems through political and diplomatic means. We believe it is important for the constructively-minded international players to contribute to this effort.

💬 We have no interest whatsoever in the noise coming from the House of Representatives over approving aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, which goes hand in hand with the tug-of-war between the White House and the Republicans who, with the upcoming presidential campaign in mind, were also pushing for funding the efforts to put an end to illegal border crossings from Mexico.
One thing is clear: regardless of their party affiliation, the US ruling elites are willing to flood the Kiev regime with weapons for it to continue to fight to the last Ukrainian and to continue, among other things, to carry out terrorist attacks targeting civilian sites in Russia, to perpetrate acts of sabotage, and to kill journalists. For this purpose, Washington is resorting to the trivial theft of frozen Russian assets, for which Congress has given the green light to the Biden administration.
Interestingly, amid these internal squabbles, the White House is no longer banking on an ephemeral victory by the Kiev regime under its control. All it wants is for the Ukrainian armed forces to hold out at least until the November voting without damaging Biden’s image. Actually, this is why the agony of Zelensky and his inner circle is being dragged out, and ordinary Ukrainians are being forcibly driven to slaughter as cannon fodder. The Republicans who are lobbying the interests of the US defence industry, which will receive the bulk of allocations to Ukraine, have a stake in this as well.
Considering this, we confirm that Washington’s actions as an active party to the conflict will be rebuffed unconditionally and decisively, and its increasingly deeper plunge into the hybrid war against Russia will end up in a fiasco for the United States as scandalous and humiliating as in Vietnam and Afghanistan.

At the same time, the West is balancing on a dangerous edge of direct military confrontation between nuclear powers, which could lead to catastrophic consequences. We are especially concerned that the three Western nuclear powers are among the main sponsors of the criminal Kiev regime and the key masterminds behind various provocations. This could create serious strategic risks and increase the level of nuclear threat.
❌ There is no justification for engaging in arms control and strategic stability talks with the US while our country is facing a total hybrid war. This agenda cannot be artificially separated from the broader international context and considered in isolation from other aspects of interstate relations, as Washington suggests. Discussions on these matters can only take place after the US government abandons its openly hostile anti-Russian stance. Any attempt to reduce conflict should address the root cause, namely NATO's aggressive eastward expansion. We see no alternative to these fundamental approaches.

Our interministerial delegation, which will include representatives from Rospatent, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Education, will be headed by the Director of Rospatent, Yury Zubov.
❗️ Given the breakthrough nature of the document, which aims to regulate the rights of indigenous peoples in the field of intellectual property, the upcoming event has attracted the attention of a broad audience. WIPO expects more than 1,500 participants, including representatives of indigenous peoples and local communities as observers.
🤝 The work on the future international legal instrument, for which the Diplomatic Conference is convened, has been ongoing for 25 years (since 1999). At all stages, Russia has consistently contributed to the development of the document. Now, as we reach the final stage, our delegation plans to constructively collaborate with our partners on clarifying and resolving any remaining differences in the text's formulations and definitions.

📸 The iconic WWII photo “Victory Banner over the Reichstag” is widely known across the world as a symbol of the Soviet Victory over Nazi Germany. The photo was taken on May 2, 1945, by a Soviet photographer Evgeniy Khaldei after the last German troops defending the Reichstag had surrendered.
🇷🇺 What is less known, is that the Victory Banner featured in the photo was initially raised over the Reichstag on May 1 by three Soviet soldiers - Aleksei Berest, Mikhail Egorov and Meliton Kantaria - while the fierce battle for the Reichstag was still underway. On May 2, after the fighting had ceased, the red banner was relocated to the top of the building, marking the historic Victory. Shortly thereafter, the banner was taken down and transported to Moscow, where it was kept at the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the USSR for eternal preservation.
🌟 Today, visitors of the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation can only view one of the four official replicas of the Victory Banner. The original is stored in a special glass capsule in an underground vault of the museum to protect it from damage.
🇷🇺 In 2007, the Russian legislation conferred upon the Victory Banner the status of a state relic of the Russian Federation and the official symbol of the Victory of the Soviet people and its Armed Forces over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

▪️ Ровно 10 лет прошло со дня жуткой трагедии в Одессе, которую недаром называют «одесской Хатынью». Как и в 1943 г., люди, загнанные в Дом профсоюзов украинскими националистами в духе гитлеровских карателей, погибали в огне горящего здания. Несмотря на огромное количество документальных свидетельств с места событий, никто так и не понёс наказание за убийство 48 человек.
▪️ Призывы к «тщательному расследованию инцидента» из кабинетов Вашингтона, Совета Европы, Евросоюза и других кураторов кровавого госпереворота на Украине 2014 г., по понятным причинам, были сделаны «для галочки». Никто всерьёз не рассчитывал, что «хозяева» нынешнего киевского режима будут реально заинтересованы в том, чтобы публично наказать своих подопечных.
▪️ Недоумение вызывает другое. Реакция ООН, включая её правозащитные механизмы, а также других международных организаций на трагедию в Одессе оказалась настолько номинальной и «беззубой», что лишь усугубила ситуацию. Подобная «индульгенция на насилие» фактически развязала руки Киеву, который начал полномасштабные боевые действия против своих же, на тот момент, граждан в Донбассе, приведшие к гибели тысяч мирных жителей.
▪️ Нынешняя годовщина даёт повод в очередной раз задуматься о сути киевского режима. Трагедия в Одессе наглядно показала истинное лицо украинских властей и «открыла глаза» многим, прежде всего жителям Донецка и Луганска, на уготованную им участь за право отстаивать свою историю, веру, культуру и родной язык.
❗️ Не сомневаюсь, что справедливость обязательно восторжествует и виновные не уйдут от заслуженного наказания. Так было с нацистскими преступниками, так будет и с теми украинскими бандеровцами, кто совершает преступления против человечности сегодня.

As in 1943, people, driven into the Trade Unions House by Ukrainian nationalists in the spirit of Hitler's punitive squads, perished in the flames of the burning building. Despite abundant documentary evidence from the scene, no one has faced punishment for the murder of 48 people.
▪️ Calls for a "thorough investigation of the incident" from Washington, the Council of Europe, the European Union and other patrons of the violent 2014 coup in Ukraine, were made just for show for obvious reasons. No one seriously expected the "masters" of the current Kiev regime to be genuinely interested in publicly punishing their subordinates.
▪️ Another issue is more puzzling. The response of the UN, including its human rights mechanisms, as well as other international organizations to the tragedy in Odessa was so casual and "inert" that it only exacerbated the situation. Such an "indulgence of violence" effectively gave Kiev a sense of impunity, which led to the beginning of full-scale military actions against its own citizens (at the time) in Donbass, resulting in thousands of civilian casualties.
▪️ This anniversary gives reason to once again reflect on the nature of the Kiev regime. The Odessa massacre clearly exposed the true face of the Ukrainian authorities and "opened the eyes" of many, above all - the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk, to the grim fate for defending their history, faith, culture and native language.
❗️ I strongly believe that justice will prevail, and the perpetrators will not escape the punishment they deserve. Just as justice caught up with Nazi war criminals, so too will it reach the Ukrainian Banderites committing crimes against humanity today.

❗️On the human rights situation in the US (from Russia's MFA report)
Washington declares its commitment to upholding the principle of universality of fundamental human rights and freedom. In fact, the situation in the US is nowhere near the international standards:
🔻 A system-wide racism and police misconduct flourish;
🔻 National minorities find themselves victims of discrimination and social inequality;
🔻 The homeless issue remains outstanding;
🔻 Immigrants and prisoners, including those under age, face continuous oppression of their liberties;
🔻 Journalists do not feel safe and become victims of attacks;
🔻 The plans of the American Administration to close the Guantanamo special isolator remain unfulfilled.
Citizens' dissatisfaction with violations of voting rights only deepens the divide within American society. Alternative views are more often subject to censorship in mass and social media.
Numerous violations of human rights and freedoms remain in focus of the criticism coming from relevant international structures and non-governmental institutions.
The report of the UN Human Rights Committee (HRC) published in November 2023 <...> notes the lack of positive moves in addressing significant deficiencies in the criminal legal system. There is a reference to serious violations of voting rights, of the rights to non-interference in private life, freedom of expression, freedom of peaceful assemblies and associations.
👉 No one has been held accountable for the systematic human rights abuses committed in the secret detention system run by the CIA, including enforced disappearances, torture and other ill-treatment.
👉 The government's inability to protect people from constant gun violence continues to violate their rights, including the right to life, personal security and freedom from discrimination. In 2020, at least 44 thousand people died from gun violence.

📈 We must ensure reliable continuity in the country’s development for decades ahead, raise and educate the younger generations who will strengthen Russia’s power, develop our statehood, at the core of which lies interethnic harmony, preservation of traditions of all peoples living in Russia, a country-civilization united by the Russian language and our multinational culture.

⚡️ Foreign Ministry statement on the Russian Armed Forces’ exercises held to practice for the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons
💬 Regarding the upcoming Russian military exercises held to practice for the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons, we would like to point out that these drills should be viewed in the context of the recent militant statements made by Western officials and the highly destabilising actions taken by several NATO countries to increase military pressure on the Russian Federation <...>.
👉 The matter concerns above all the open declaration of support for and the provision of direct assistance to the terrorist attacks against Russia carried out by the Kiev regime with the use of increasingly more advanced Western weapons provided to it. <...>
Apart from the British and French long-range missiles, which have long been used in Ukraine, we have taken special note of the models of US-made ATACMS missiles, which have been recently sent to Ukraine and are capable of reaching targets inside Russia.
At the same time, attempting to build up multifaceted missile threats to Russia, the US has openly and manifestly launched the deployment of ground-based intermediate- and shorter-range missiles, which were previously prohibited under the INF Treaty, around the world. <...>
❗️We hereby expressly declare that we reserve the right to respond in kind, no matter where US-made intermediate- and shorter-range missiles are deployed, which would amount to the termination of Russia’s unilateral moratorium on the deployment of these weapon systems. <...>
These and several other actions by NATO countries actually show that they are deliberately trying to escalate the Ukrainian crisis all the way to an open military confrontation between NATO countries and Russia within the framework of their hostile policy of inflicting a “strategic defeat” on Russia.

👦🏻👧🏻 К празднованию 79-й годовщины Победы в Великой Отечественной войне мы тщательно подготовились. Особенно постарались ученики школы при Постпредстве, которые поучаствовали в ряде мероприятий, приуроченных к этой великой дате.
Так, наши ребята:
1️⃣ Провели смотр строя и песни;
2️⃣ Организовали кинопоказ для старшеклассников документального фильма «Встречи на Эльбе»;
3️⃣ Совместно с главой дипмиссии Г.М.Гатиловым украсили георгиевскими лентами посаженное в Постпредстве Дерево Памяти;
4️⃣ Поучаствовали в акции #ОкнаПобеды, оформив школу к 9 мая;

👦🏻👧🏻 We are now well-prepared for the celebration of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The biggest contribution was made by the students of the school at our Permanent Mission, as they’ve organized a series of events timed to this significant date.
Thus, our students:
1️⃣ Conducted a military music fest;
2️⃣ Showed the "Meetings on the Elbe" documentary to our high schoolers;
3️⃣ Together with Ambassador Gennady Gatilov decorated the Tree of Memory planted at the Permanent Mission with ribbons of St.George;
4️⃣ Joined the #WindowsOfVictory flashmob, decorating the school for the Victory Day.
