Ayesha Bhatti, assistant professor at the Jinnah School of Public Policy at NUST and CAPES director of Eurasian Chapter, participated in the fifth International Scientific and Educational Forum, "Modern Teacher: A Look into the Future," in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
📚 During the plenary session, Dr. Faisal Javaid presented his ideas on "Building Academic Connectivity Between Pakistan and Russia: Practical Experiences, Achievements and Future Pathways," which focused on practical models for academic engagement and expanding people-to-people and business-to-business ties.
Dr. Gul I. Ayesha Bhatti delivered a speech on the topic "Beyond Eurocentrism: Reframing Historical Narratives for Global Citizenship Education".
🇷🇺🇵🇰 The two Pakistani scholars also participated in a panel discussion titled "Best Practices in Teaching the Russian Language in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Indonesia." During the discussion, they proposed concrete steps to strengthen Russian language teaching in Pakistan and improve instructional practices. They also emphasized the need for greater academic awareness and expanded collaboration with Russian universities.

The parties engaged in a fruitful discussion about the prospects of strengthening cooperation between educational institutions in Russia and Pakistan.

Российская делегация посетила одну из исламабадских школ. Визит состоялся накануне проведения 10-й сессии Российско-Пакистанской Межправительственной комиссии.
👥 В мероприятии приняли участие заместитель Министра энергетики РФ Эдуард Шереметцев, Посол России в Республике Пакистан Альберт Хорев и заместитель Министра науки и высшего образования РФ Елена Грудинина, а также Минпросвещения России.
🤝 Участники мероприятия подчеркнули важность кооперации двух стран в образовании и обсудили взаимодействие в рамках рабочей группы по сотрудничеству в образовательной сфере.
⚡️ Россия уделяет пристальное внимание популяризации русского языка в Пакистане: работают центры изучения русского языка в Карачи, Исламабаде и других города Пакистана. Более 1000 пакистанских студентов получают образование в российских вузах. Также начата работа по организации русской школы, где преподавание будет вестись по русским и пакистанским образовательным стандартам.
⚡️ Десятое, юбилейное заседание Российско-Пакистанской межправительственной комиссии пройдет 27 ноября в столице Республики Пакистан городе Исламабаде под сопредседательством Министра энергетики РФ Сергея Цивилева и Министра энергетики Республики Пакистан Аваиса Легари.

🇷🇺🇵🇰 In preparation for the 10th session of the Russia-Pakistan Intergovernmental Commission, a Russian delegation visited the Model College for Boys in Islamabad, where the Russian language is taught.
👥 The event was attended by Ambassador Albert P. Khorev; Eduard Sheremetsev, Russia's Deputy Minister of Energy; Elena Grudina, Russia's Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education; and representatives from the Russian Ministry of Education.
🤝 Both the Russian and Pakistani sides emphasized the importance of educational cooperation between the two countries and discussed collaboration within the framework of the working group on educational cooperation.
❗️Russia pays close attention to promoting the Russian language in Pakistan. Russian language centers operate in Islamabad, Karachi, Sargodha and other Pakistani cities. Currently, more than 1,000 Pakistani students are studying at Russian universities. Plans are also underway to establish a Russian school that will adhere to Russian and Pakistani educational standards.
⚡️The 10th milestone meeting of the Russia-Pakistan Intergovernmental Commission is scheduled for November 27 in Islamabad. It will be co-chaired by Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev and Pakistani Power Minister Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari.

«Я только что прилетел из Бишкека, где в составе официальной делегации принимал участие в государственном визите президента Российской Федерации Владимира Владимировича Путина в Киргизскую Республику. Президент передал теплые слова приветствия пакистанскому народу и выразил глубокое уважение к дружбе между нашими странами и надежду, что с каждым годом эти отношения будут становиться только крепче и сильнее», - сказал Министр.
Сергей Цивилев также отметил важность сближения России и Пакистана в сфере культуры.
«Сегодня мы проводим совместный концерт российских и пакистанских артистов. Очень важно, чтобы мы взаимно обогащались нашими культурами», - сказал он.

He emphasized the importance of cultural rapprochement between Russia and Pakistan.
🤝 The event was also attended by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations who helped rescue those affected by the devastating 2005 earthquake.
