✍️ I cordially welcome the organisers, participants, and guests of the TIME: Tatarstan-India. Mutual Efficiency business forum, hosted in the city of Kazan.

Kazan has a proven track record of successfully hosting high-profile international events, most recently the XVI BRICS Summit in October 2024, which featured a high-level Indian delegation headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This year, we mark the 25th anniversary of the Declaration on Strategic Partnership between Russia and India. A decade after its signing, our bilateral relations were elevated to a special and privileged strategic partnership. Today, this partnership continues to develop dynamically in the interests of our peoples. Our trade and economic ties, scientific and technological collaboration, and cultural and humanitarian exchanges are all on the rise.

I am delighted to see that the Forum’s substantive programme reflects the multifaceted nature of Russian-Indian cooperation. I am confident that your discussions will be constructive and will contribute to expanding practical cooperation between our two nations, further strengthening the bonds of friendship, trust, and mutual understanding between our peoples.

Vladimir Putin talked about the conflict between Russia and Ukraine

Those who encouraged, goaded and armed Ukraine, stirring it up against Russia, for decades fostered rampant nationalism and neo-Nazism simply could not care less about not only Russian interests, but also about Ukrainian interests either, the true interests of the people of that country. They have no remorse for that people, it is expendable in the eyes of both globalist expansionists in the West and their lackeys in Kiev.
