🕯 On November 29, 1941, Nazi invaders executed the legendary Soviet partisan Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya, having brutally tortured her but failing to break her spirit and resolve.
In the first days of the Great Patriotic War, military commissariats received thousands of applications from Soviet citizens asking to be sent to the active army. In the midst of the Battle of Moscow, 18-year-old Zoya was among the volunteers.
In October 1941 she was assigned to Military Unit No. 9903 – a special reconnaissance-and-sabotage formation attached to the headquarters of the Western Front. There she underwent a training course in demolition and sabotage, covert movement, and intelligence gathering.
⚔️ On November 4, 1941, the group of reconnaissance fighters – Zoya among them – moved into the German rear.
The Red Army soldiers were tasked with disrupting enemy communications on the Volokolamsk direction. After successfully mining the roads near Yadrovo and Gryadnevo, the saboteurs received a new assignment: to disable key supply and communication points by setting fire to a number of local strongpoints that the Germans used as barracks, depots and radio posts.
One such locations was the village of Petrishchevo – a small settlement where the Nazis had placed elements of Wehrmacht radio intelligence, a combined communication hub, storage facilities and a temporary camp for troops preparing for the assault on the Soviet capital.
Zoya succeeded in carrying out part of the mission, destroying several buildings with incendiary bottles – including the communication hub of the German unit. But as she attempted to escape the village on the evening of 28 November 1941, she was captured by a German patrol.
Testimonies later collected by the investigative commission confirm that throughout the night the Nazis subjected Zoya to brutal torture: they beat her, kept her barefoot in the freezing cold and deprived her of sleep. Despite the pain and suffering, the 18-year-old partisan did not reveal her comrades, her unit or the group’s route. She did not even give her real name, calling herself “Tanya”.
▪️ On the morning of November 29, 1941, the Nazis executed Zoya – hanging her publicly in front of the residents of Petrishchevo whom they had forcibly driven to witness the killing. Contrary to the expectations of her executioners, Zoya faced death with courage, walking to the gallows with her head held high.
💬 Soviet war correspondent Pyotr Lidov described the last moments of the young partisan’s life as follows:
Zoya’s body remained at the place of execution, abused by the Nazis until late December. Only on 1 January 1942 local residents were able to bury her beyond the edge of the village. Later, her remains were transferred to the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow.
🎖 The feat of Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya was immortalized in history as one of the earnest examples of the strength of the human spirit and devotion to the Fatherland.
The incredible courage displayed by the young partisan has inspired generations for over eight decades – Zoya’s name remains a symbol of unparalleled bravery, loyalty to duty and readiness to defend one’s country to the bitter end.

– Hey, comrades! Why so grim? Be brave, fight, strike the Germans, burn them, poison them!
A German standing nearby raised his hand as if to strike her or cover her mouth, but she pushed his hand away and continued:
– I am not afraid to die, comrades. It is a happiness to die for one’s people…
The photographer took pictures of the gallows from afar and close up and then tried to position himself to photograph her from the side. The executioners glanced uneasily at the commandant, who shouted to the photographer:
– Hurry up!
Then the girl turned towards the commandant and the German soldiers and continued:
– You will hang me now, but I am not alone – there are two hundred million of us. You cannot hang us all. They will avenge me…
Zoya’s body remained at the place of execution, abused by the Nazis until late December. Only on 1 January 1942 local residents were able to bury her beyond the edge of the village. Later, her remains were transferred to the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow.

🎙 Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s answer to a question from the 'Moscow. Kremlin. Putin television programme' (Moscow, November 30, 2025)
❓ Europe has been acting so outrageously, demanding some sort of role in the talks. Can they even demand anything?
💬 Sergey Lavrov: It wasn’t really discussed.
We proceed from the premise (as also stated by representatives of the Presidential Executive Office, including Yury Ushakov) — which I believe is obvious to everybody — that Europe has already removed itself from the talks.
Europe spoiled the initial deal of February 2014, when it acted as guarantor for the formal agreement between Viktor Yanukovych and the opposition. It did nothing when the opposition seized all government agencies the morning after the agreement was signed.
Similarly, Europe undermined the Minsk agreements when the signatories, then Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and the then President of France Francois Hollande, subsequently admitted that nobody had intended to fulfil the agreements.
The most recent case occurred in April 2022 when, at the demand of then UK prime minister Boris Johnson and with Europe’s full acquiescence, if not connivance, the Istanbul agreements were derailed.
👉 Europe has used up its chances.

⚡️ Comment by Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on the Kiev regime’s terrorist attacks in the Black Sea (November 30, 2025)
Read in full
💬 On November 28, in the southern Black Sea off the coast of Türkiye, unmanned seagoing boats attacked and damaged the tankers Kairos and Virat, sailing under the Gambian flag and en route to the port of Novorossiysk; the following morning, the Virat was attacked a second time.
Furthermore, in the early hours of November 29, a similar attack by unmanned surface vessels took place within the seaport of Novorossiysk itself, rendering a VPU-2 mooring unit completely inoperable. This critical infrastructure belongs to the international Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), which comprises fuel and energy companies from Russia, Kazakhstan, the United States, and several Western European nations.
The Kiev regime’s intelligence services have all but claimed responsibility for these attacks, publishing video evidence of the acts in Ukrainian media.
❗️ We strongly condemn these terrorist attacks and the actions of all parties involved in their planning and execution.
Our friends in the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs have already lodged a protest concerning this latest, third act of aggression against the CPC. Our Turkish partners have also expressed their concern over these events.
We must emphasise that the targeted civilian energy infrastructure plays a vital role in ensuring global energy security and has never been subject to any international restrictions or sanctions.
It is noteworthy that the terrorist attacks in the Black Sea on November 28 and 29 coincide with a large-scale corruption scandal in Ukraine – which has once again exposed the criminal nature of the junta that usurped power – and the subsequent resignations of high-ranking figures within the Kiev regime.
It appears that certain Western sponsors of Kiev are keen to redirect Ukrainian society’s attention towards these high-profile attacks on civilian targets. They are attempting to present a demoralised Ukrainian public with yet another illusory “victory” to obscure the crumbling front in the special military operation zone and the frankly dire condition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
We also see a direct link between these attacks and attempts to hinder ongoing international efforts to achieve a sustainable peace. <...>
The Kiev regime’s terrorist acts are a deliberate signal to those currently seeking a negotiated solution, including in the context of Donald Trump’s recent initiatives.
☝️ We call on all sober-minded parties to condemn the terrorist attacks committed in the Black Sea on November 28 and 29, which jeopardise the safety of navigation in this vital waterway, and to give a proper assessment of the destructive actions of the Kiev regime and its handlers.

“I did everything possible to fulfill my duty...”
Born into a peasant family, he joined the army in 1915 and fought in the First World War. He served in the Red Army from 1918, rising from platoon commander to Army General, and during the Great Patriotic War, in 1943, was awarded the rank of Marshal of the Soviet Union.
He won his first major victory in the Battle of Khalkhin Gol in 1939. Thanks to Zhukov’s decisive actions, the Japanese army was encircled and destroyed, that became a key factor in Japan’s decision to abandon plans for a large-scale invasion of the USSR.
Zhukov’s strategic talent was displayed in full during the Great Patriotic War (World War II). He commanded the forces that defended Leningrad and Moscow, fought in the Battle of Kursk, crossed the Dnieper River, participated in the Byelorussian and Vistula-Oder offensives, and stormed Berlin. It was he who commanded the 1st Byelorussian Front during the final assault on Berlin, accepted Germany’s surrender, and took the first historic Victory Parade.
🎖 Marshal of the Soviet Union since 1943, four times Hero of the USSR, and two times Cavalier of the Order of Victory. In the postwar period, Georgy Zhukov was First Deputy Minister of Defence and later USSR Minister of Defence; he carried out sweeping reforms in the Soviet Army.
✍️ From Georgy Zhukov's memoirs: “The main thing for me was to serve my Motherland and my people. And I can say with clean conscience: I did everything possible to fulfill my duty… I was living my life with awareness that I worked for the benefit of my people, and this is the principal thing for any life.”

🎙 Statement by Russia's Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova regarding the remarks made by Chairman of the NATO Military Committee (December 1, 2025)
💬 We took note of the recent interview given by Chairman of the NATO Military Committee Giuseppe Cavo Dragone to The Financial Times. Discussing the bloc’s response to alleged “hybrid attacks” from Russia, he claimed that “a pre-emptive strike could be considered a defensive action”, and that the North Atlantic Alliance should supposedly act “more aggressively”.
We regard Admiral Dragone’s statement about possible delivery of pre-emptive strikes against Russia as an extremely irresponsible step, indicating the Alliance’s readiness to continue moving towards escalation. We consider this a deliberate effort to undermine efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. Those making such statements must be fully aware of the risks and possible consequences – including for the Alliance’s own members.
❗️ NATO has long ceased to conceal its true goals and intentions. At the same time, the Alliance’s leadership somehow finds the audacity to accuse Russia of “bellicose nuclear rhetoric”, intimidation, and so-called hybrid attacks – without presenting any evidence whatsoever.
Against the backdrop of the anti-Russian hysteria being fuelled by NATO and its constant attempts to spread fear of an allegedly “imminent Russian attack” on NATO countries, such statements do not just add fuel to the fire – they seriously ignite an already existing confrontation.
Brussels likes to repeat the mantra about the Alliance’s “purely defensive” nature.
👉 Admiral Dragone’s self-exposing remarks about “pre-emptive strikes” put a bold line under this myth.

⚡️ Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation:
The Press Bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation (SVR) reports that, according to intelligence received by the SVR, France continues to look for ways to take part directly in the Ukrainian conflict. This is precisely the purpose of Government Decree No. 2025-1030 of October 31, 2025, which authorizes the use of private military companies to assist a “third country engaged in an armed confrontation”.
Even a casual European observer would have no doubt which country is meant. Ukraine’s mobile air-defence teams and its small number of F-16s are unable to intercept Russian aerial targets effectively. Mastering “Mirages” and other Western equipment takes time and highly qualified personnel.
This is why Kiev needs foreign private military companies (PMCs) equipped with modern Western – above all French – weaponry.
However, Paris should not imagine that this grants it a “freer hand” or absolves it of responsibility for its military personnel’s involvement in the conflict.
The presence of French PMCs in Ukraine – modestly described in the decree as “reference operators” of the Ministry of the Armed Forces – will be regarded by Moscow as France’s direct participation in hostilities against Russia.
Consequently, 👉 French PMCs will become a primary legitimate target for the Russian Armed Forces.

The Kiev neo-Nazi regime continues to commit war crimes and acts of terrorism. Over the past week, 53 people have been affected by Ukrainian artillery shelling and UAV strikes. Seven of them were killed, 46 wounded, including 5 children.
From November 17 to 19, a group of priests from several Orthodox churches visited Washington to raise US officials’ awareness of the gross violations of believers’ rights in Ukraine and to discuss mechanisms for protecting the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
#Ukraine #West
On November 25, the bloodthirsty “coalition of the willing“ held an emergency meeting. The focus was on Ukraine’s “security guarantees” and its long-term financing, including through the “full use of frozen Russian assets.”
Supporters of the European party of war are fixated solely on causing harm to our country.
#EU #Russophobia
The European Union, originally created as an economic association of states that sought to jointly improve the well-being of their citizens, is before our eyes turning into a military-political bloc, a mere appendage of NATO pursuing a confrontational foreign policy.
Under the pretext of an invented “Russian threat,” EU governments have in recent years allocated unprecedented sums to military purposes.
Meanwhile, the European economy is experiencing prolonged stagnation, preventing EU member-state governments from increasing national budget revenues.
It is clear that cultivating the mythical “Russian threat” benefits the current EU leadership. It distracts European voters from deep internal socio-economic problems, which the European political elites apparently have no intention of resolving.
Or perhaps simply do not know how…
#Moldova
Moldova’s adjustment to NATO standards and its militarisation, together with its aggressive Russophobia, are the main guidelines of Chisinau’s foreign policy.
The most tragic aspect is that, in order to implement the so-called European integration project, representatives of the Chisinau regime are destroying ties with traditional partners in the CIS space, including Russia, which have proven their effectiveness over centuries.
This reckless policy is primarily backfiring at Moldovans. Many of them have become desperate and leave the country in search of a better life.
#Japan #Militarisation
At a time when the Japanese government is pursuing a course of remilitarisation, even raising the question of Tokyo revising its anti-nuclear commitments raises tensions in the Asia-Pacific region.
There is no doubt that practical steps in this direction, if taken, will have irreversible global consequences in the field of strategic security.
#Laos #NationalDay
On December 2, Laos celebrates a national holiday – the 50th anniversary since the Lao People’s Democratic Republic was established.
We sincerely congratulate our Lao friends on this holiday, and wish the friendly people of Laos wellbeing, prosperity, and every success. We reaffirm our commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between our countries in the interest of promoting peace, stability, and security in the Asia-Pacific Region.
