Everyone who is serious about politics supports state power being used to enforce their ideology.

The Trump administration will be in for a rude awakening when they realize good diplomatic relations are more valuable than likes on social media.

Frankly it's embarrassing that Denmark sends its Foreign Minister to Washington to participate in further publicity stunts for Donald Trump -- after he has repeatedly threatened to attack the country with military force.

If Trump wants to discuss something about Greenland, he can send a delegation to Copenhagen. Other than that, the case is closed.

All European countries (and Canada) should tell Washington that they will stop hosting US soldiers on their bases until the US administration stops all aggression. I mean, that is the lowest level of response.

But then again, these people are pathetic, so they won't live up to normal standards of behaviour.

BC's drug decriminalization experiment was a total failure. When I was 18 and had just taken an interest in politics, I was told by all the "experts" that drugs wouldn't be as much of a problem if they were all decriminalized.

Just like everything else I was taught back then, that was a lie.

They don't even have a legal right to be here, yet they have zero shame in demanding that Canada be run for their benefit.

Never let anyone tell us that we, the descendants of the settlers who built Canada, don't have the right to demand that our country benefit us.

I urge right-wingers in Canada and Europe to disassociate themselves from MAGA. Even if there is some ideological overlap, MAGA is stupid, crass, and clearly hostile. Anything associated with Trump is more likely to poison the well on remigration than advance the idea.

There's a strong market for immigration restriction and remigration in Canada and Europe. There is no market for the reality TV circus, schizophrenic trade policy, and reckless disregard for security outside of the MAGA echo chamber. The former must be divorced from the latter.

Memes aside, CANZUK might be a good idea for the future, but we need to focus on retaking our countries today.

Just days ago, Carney declared the "rules-based world order" over. Meanwhile the Canadian military stated that it wouldn't last a week if the US invaded and Canada would be reduced to an Afghanistan-style guerrilla war.

Today, Carney reasserted the idea that Canada is a multicultural, post-national country. If the Canadian government think Canadians (and the hodgepodge of migrants they've imported) would put their lives on the line to wage a desperate guerrilla war for this, they are delusional.

They haven't acknowledged it yet, but the Laurentian Elite now need nationalism more than ever. They'll have to adapt accordingly or they'll be swept out of power.

PS I don't think a US invasion is at all a likely possibility in the foreseeable future. This just highlights the disconnect between telling people they have no definable culture or nationality then believing they'd fight a war for you.
