Also the international protest continues after the ceasefire agreement, with thousands of people marching in the cities of Europe and holding the responsible institutions everywhere accountable. In Barcelona internationalists threw red paint against institutions of the Turkish State and European Union to show the blood they have on their hands, informing the public with leaflets thrown in the air.

The protests in Europe and Kurdistan show, that there will be no guarantee of the ceasefire but the pressure of the people and that without a life in dignity their will be no peace. In this spirit the mobilization continues.

📣 Result of the "Global Action Days in Defense of Rojava"

❓ The campaigns Women Defend Rojava and RiseUp4Rojava had declared "Golabal Action Days in Defense of Rojava" from January 25 to February 2, 2026. In total 242 organizations and 113 individuals from 45 countries - including well known voices like Greta Thunberg and Raúl Zibechi - signed the call. In at least four countries, tens of thousands of people took to the streets in defense of the Rojava revolution.
