International Rojava Solidarity Day

The international action week called by Riseup4Rojava and Women Defend Rojava finds its last day to be the newly proclaimed “International Rojava Solidarity Day”. To celebrate the resistance of Rojava in the last weeks and to put pressure on all aims yet to be achieved, the people in all cities of Rojava took to the streets today declaring “the Kurdish people are one!”

Also on the other side of the Turkish border, in Pirsûs (Suruç) and Tartûs, the people keep protesting, calling for the border to Kobanê to be opened and putting pressure on all demands of the negotiations to be put in practice.

Also the international protest continues after the ceasefire agreement, with thousands of people marching in the cities of Europe and holding the responsible institutions everywhere accountable. In Barcelona internationalists threw red paint against institutions of the Turkish State and European Union to show the blood they have on their hands, informing the public with leaflets thrown in the air.

The protests in Europe and Kurdistan show, that there will be no guarantee of the ceasefire but the pressure of the people and that without a life in dignity their will be no peace. In this spirit the mobilization continues.

Impact of HTS Rule on Syria

🔸America and Qatar signed contracts with Damascus regarding the supply of petrol in the areas of North and East Syria

📣 Result of the "Global Action Days in Defense of Rojava"

❓ The campaigns Women Defend Rojava and RiseUp4Rojava had declared "Golabal Action Days in Defense of Rojava" from January 25 to February 2, 2026. In total 242 organizations and 113 individuals from 45 countries - including well known voices like Greta Thunberg and Raúl Zibechi - signed the call. In at least four countries, tens of thousands of people took to the streets in defense of the Rojava revolution.
