⚠️ Israel raids Gaza’s largest hospital

The attack at the Al-Shifa hospital triggered gun battles around the medical complex - where thousands of people have taken refuge.

The IDF claimed it was conducting a “precise operation in the area” on Monday to thwart “Hamas activity in the compound.”

Gaza’s health ministry accused Israeli forces of “committing another crime against health institutions,” saying they had trapped people inside the surgery and emergency units of one of the hospital’s buildings and caused “deaths and injuries.”

✅ Uber Fined $178MN in Australia Taxi Class Action Settlement

The lawsuit was filed in 2019 in the Supreme Court of Victoria state on behalf more than 8,000 taxi and hire car owners and drivers, accusing Uber of breaking laws requiring taxis and hire cars to be licenced.

Uber's 2012 arrival in the market took revenue from licenced taxi drivers while destroying the value of the licences they had paid for, according to the lawsuit.

Uber had said it never knowingly broke the law but has agreed to pay $178mn to settle the class action suit.

⚠️ UPDATE: Israeli Army Shoots ‘Anything That Moves’ in Raid on Gaza City Hospital – WAFA

Israeli forces have besieged the Al-Shifa hospital and cut off all communications in the area.

“Occupation forces stormed the Specialized Surgery Building and the Emergency Reception Building in Building 8, and opened fire directly at anyone who moved,” sources told WAFA.

The sources added that medical teams were unable to treat the wounded and that Israeli forces fired at anyone who approached the windows of the hospital. Dozens were also detained inside the hospital.
