It was an honor to hear from Northwest Georgia’s sheriffs this morning.

One of the many problems sheriffs are facing here in GA and around the country are slap-on-the-wrist penalties for criminals who are not adequately prosecuted by District Attorneys, if at all, leading to drug rings, overdose deaths, and crime, all of which is completely avoidable if the law were properly prosecuted.

I am filled with gratitude for all of the wonderful Sheriffs in my district, their hard work and dedication to each of their communities, and their openness about the tragic reality of the hopeless never ending cycle of drug use and trade.

Each of them expressed the depths of problems they deal with every day and how it all stems from the home.

They said no amount of funding, prisons, mental health services, and drug rehabilitation programs would end the steady flow of human brokenness they deal with on a daily basis.

The family is where the problems can be prevented and solved, not the prison.

God bless these great Sheriffs and their staffs.

Felt great to be back in my element yesterday at the construction site for the new McLemore resort coming to beautiful Northwest Georgia.

The golf course is already a top 100 course and the second is going to be top 40 in the nation. The resort is going to be absolutely stunning and I’m really proud and excited that it’ll be in my district.

When it comes to Ukraine, the Biden Administration has lied to us from the very beginning.

Joe Biden said the US would not get involved in the war in Ukraine because Ukraine is not a NATO member nation.

Yet over a year later, we’ve sent hundreds of billions of dollars, military equipment, and so much ammunition that we have to borrow from foreign countries like South Korea to replenish our stockpile.

We have now found out from a supposed 21-year-old National Guardsman that there are American military troops on the ground in Ukraine.

Is this another Stu Scheller who revealed the truth about the Biden Afghanistan withdrawal?

If this is true, why are they there? What are they doing?

A US troop presence in Ukraine to go to war with Russia was NEVER authorized by Congress.

Now the Biden Administration and DOJ want to arrest a likely low-lever National Guardsman for exposing the TRUTH?? It’s Joe Biden, his Administration, and the Department of Defense that are breaking the law. They are violating the Constitution by inserting us into an armed conflict most Americans don’t want and no American benefits from.

The National Guardsman that released these Pentagon papers is simply blowing the whistle on what is really taking place at the DOD, yet he’s being treated like a traitor and criminal. It’s the Biden Admin and the DOD who are acting like criminals. They’re the ones who should be held accountable to the American people because of what they’re doing in Ukraine.

Our Constitution and the rule of law exist for a reason, and the Constitution is clear: it is Congress that must vote to go to war. But again, the Pentagon has us involved in a war that Congress never voted to approve.
