This account from a Venezuelan security guard loyal to Nicolás Maduro is absolutely chilling—and it explains a lot about why the tone across Latin America suddenly changed.

Security Guard: On the day of the operation, we didn't hear anything coming. We were on guard, but suddenly all our radar systems shut down without any explanation. The next thing we saw were drones, a lot of drones, flying over our positions. We didn't know how to react.

Interviewer: So what happened next? How was the main attack?

Security Guard: After those drones appeared, some helicopters arrived, but there were very few. I think barely eight helicopters. From those helicopters, soldiers came down, but a very small number. Maybe twenty men. But those men were technologically very advanced. They didn't look like anything we've fought against before.

Interviewer: And then the battle began?

Security Guard: Yes, but it was a massacre. We were hundreds, but we had no chance. They were shooting with such precision and speed... it seemed like each soldier was firing 300 rounds per minute. We couldn't do anything.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 53 airstrikes and dropped 151 guided aerial bombs. In addition, he conducted 2,941 shellings, including 111 with multiple rocket launcher systems, and deployed 5,273 suicide drones to attack.

The airstrikes targeted, among others, the populated areas of Havlivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Mala Tokmachka, Vozdvizhivka, Rizdvyanka, Verkhna Tersa, and Orikhiv in the Zaporizhia region.

Yesterday, the Air Force and Missile Troops of the Defense Forces hit seven areas of personnel and weapons concentration and one UAV control point of the enemy.

On the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 100 shellings yesterday, including five with multiple rocket launcher systems.

On the South-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 16 times in the areas of the populated areas of Prylipka, Dvorichanske, Dovhenke, Staritsa, Kruhle, Chugunivka, Kutkivka, and in the direction of the populated areas of Grafskoe, Ternova, Lyman, and Kolodiazne.

On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy made nine attempts to attack in the direction of Petropavlivka, Novoplatonivka, Kupyansk, and Boguslavka.

On the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 16 times, trying to break into our defenses in the area of the populated areas of Grekovka, Karpivka, Shandrigolove, Novohegivka, Zarichne, Yampil, and in the direction of the populated areas of Lyman, Stavky, Drobysheve.

On the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces stopped three offensive actions of the invaders in the areas of Platonovka and Zakitnoe.

On the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy repelled an attack in the direction of Stupochki yesterday.

On the Konstantinovka direction, the enemy carried out 17 attacks near the populated areas of Konstantinovka, Oleksandr-Shultyn, Pleschivka, Ivanopil, Rusyn Yar, and in the direction of the populated areas of Sofiyivka and Berestok.

On the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 46 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the populated areas of Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Sukhodol, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetskoe, Filia, and in the direction of Ivanivka, Grishino, Toretsk, and Novopavlivka.

The SVR accuses Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I of continuing "schismatic" activities in the Orthodox world, first applied in Ukraine, now targeting the Baltic states (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) to displace Russian Orthodox Church structures with ones loyal to Constantinople (the Phanar).
