In total, over the past day, 171 combat clashes were recorded.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out two missile and 28 air strikes, used 36 missiles and dropped 92 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they carried out 3,322 shellings, including 61 with multiple rocket launcher systems, and deployed 6,140 kamikaze drones.

The following populated areas were targeted by air strikes: Malomikhailivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Dobropillya, Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region; Rizdvianka, Samilivka, Novoe Pole, Grigorivske, Yurkivka, Yulivka in the Zaporizhia region.

Yesterday, the Air Force and missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit three enemy personnel and equipment concentration areas.

On the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 135 shellings yesterday, including two with multiple rocket launcher systems.

On the South-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders ten times in the areas of Prilipka, Staritsa, Vovchansk and Zelenoe.

On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy made seven attempts to attack in the area of Stepova Novoselivka and towards Boguslavka and Novaya Kruglivka.

On the Liman direction, the enemy attacked 14 times, trying to break into our defenses in the areas of Novovodiane, Novoheorivka, Kolodyzi, Drobysheve and Mirne.

On the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces stopped the offensive of the invaders in the area of Platonovka.

On the Kramatorsk direction, an enemy attack towards Stupochki was repelled yesterday.

On the Konstantinovka direction, the enemy carried out 20 attacks towards Stupochki yesterday.

On the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 43 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Razino, Shakhove, Nikanorivka, Rodinskoe, Mirnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotline, Udachne, Novosergiyevka and towards Novopavlivka and Filia.

On the Alexandrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 20 attacks in the areas of Piddubne, Sosnovka, Verbove, Vishneve, Ribne, Yegorivka and Krasnogorsk yesterday.

On the Gulyaypole direction, our defenders stopped 27 enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Slodke, Gulyaypole, Varvarivka and Zelenoe.

On the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to improve its position in the area of Antonovsky Bridge once, but failed.

On the Dnieper and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of offensive groups by the aggressor were detected.

Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses on the occupying forces in terms of personnel and equipment and are actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.

⚡️As part of measures to reduce the military and economic potential of the aggressor, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck three drilling platforms of Lukoil Corporation in the waters of the Caspian Sea – namely the V.Filanovsky, Yuri Korchagin and Valery Grayfer platforms. These facilities are used to support the Russian occupation army.

➡️ Some time ago, footage appeared online indicating the presence of Armed Forces of Ukraine in Pleshcheyevo. The enemy is using the forest belts west of the village to launch counterattacks, although they do not have stable control over them. Therefore, it is quite possible that individual infantry groups still manage to break into the village from time to time and regroup in basements.

➡️However, they are unable to advance further toward Nelepovka through Krivoy Torets due to the dense drone presence. And due to a lack of supplies and regular UAV strikes, they also quickly lose their combat effectiveness, remaining in shelters for weeks.

📌 For a long time, there has been virtually no front line in this direction. The forward edge consists of a chain of often isolated strongholds, with a "gray zone" between them. Chief executive Darren Woods pushes back against president’s call to rush back into troubled country

Darren Woods, chief executive of the biggest US oil major, struck a sceptical tone at a televised White House gathering of energy bosses on Friday — even as some other companies expressed optimism about the potential to tap the world’s biggest oil reserves.

“If we look at the legal and commercial constructs, frameworks in place today in Venezuela, today it’s uninvestable,” Woods told Trump in a meeting that included many of America’s most prominent energy executives and some of the president’s top lieutenants.

“Significant changes have to be made to those commercial frameworks, the legal system, there has to be durable investment protections, and there has to be change to the hydrocarbon laws in the country.”

Woods said the company’s assets in Venezuela had been seized twice since Exxon first entered the country back in the 1940s.

His remarks underline how the biggest energy groups remain reluctant to rush into making big capital commitments in Venezuela even as Trump seeks to cajole them into pouring “at least $100bn” into the country to increase production and drive down US oil prices.

Other oil executives gathered at the White House — including services groups and those that already have operations on the ground — were more receptive to the president’s overtures, suggesting some level of capital could flow into the country in the near term.

The mixed messages from executives on Friday underline the complexities faced by oil companies as they weigh how to respond to Trump’s calls to inject capital into a country that remains unstable and where many of them were burned by expropriations in recent decades.

Major US oil executives expressed caution about President Donald Trump’s push for them to spend at least $100 billion to rebuild Venezuela, with the head of Exxon Mobil Corp. calling the nation currently “uninvestable.”

Trump convened nearly 20 industry representatives in the East Room of the White House Friday and predicted they could come to an agreement “today or very shortly thereafter” to reinvigorate operations in the oil-rich Latin American country following the brazen capture of leader Nicolás Maduro.

“If you don’t want to go in, just let me know, because I’ve got 25 people that aren’t here today that are willing to take your place,”

Trump told the executives.

"The multi-national "Will for Peace 2026" naval exercises began Saturday off the coast of Cape Town, hosted by South Africa, and is set to run for one week. It is widely being described as a BRICS and "BRICS+" naval drill and saw a Russian warship arrive off South Africa's primary naval base on Friday.

The Russians joined Chinese and Iranian vessels for the drills, along with other BRICS members Indonesia, Ethiopia and Brazil - which participated as observers. The nation heading up the drill is China, and it's being seen as an attempt of BRICS and Global South countries to flex their collective military might in the wake of the Trump-ordered ousting of Venezuela's Nicolás Maduro. The other members of the bloc - India, Egypt and Saudi Arabia - are not represented at the drills.

Naturally it is especially Iran which could be a ripe target for the next Trump regime change action, as it's not yet gone nuclear. But Tehran wants to showcase its much more powerful nuclear-armed friends China and Russia, which have defense and economic cooperation agreements with the Islamic Republic."
